Superman is DC's first super hero in addition to being 1 of the best super heroes of all time. Superman doesn't have as many iconic villains as Batman, but he does have some cool enemies. This list is about my 5 favorite enemies of Superman.

5. Mr. Mxyzptlk

Mr. Mxyzptlk is a trouble making antagonist. He is more of a comedic villain than the other Superman villains. He manages to annoy Superman a lot. Mr. Mxyzptlk is 1 of Superman's most entertaining enemies. He truly shines in Superman: The Animated Series where is amusingly voiced by Gilbert Gottfried.

4. Doomsday

Doomsday may not be that prominent in the Superman franchise, but he sure is important and dangerous. He defeated Superman! He is nearly as powerful as Superman. Their fight is 1 of DC's most iconic and coolest fight scenes. Doomsday is menacing and cool looking.

3. Darkseid

Darkseid is 1 of DC's strongest villains. He is the leader a planet called Apokolips. He is so evil and cruel that even Superman was tempted to destroy him. Darkseid makes both Superman and Justice League more exciting by being 1 of their most threatening enemies. There are very few villains that more evil than him.

2. Nigel St. John

Nigel St. John is a recurring villain in the TV show Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. He started off as a helper to Lex Luthor, but he turned out to less trustworthy than he seemed. The most awesome thing about him is that he's played by the master of villain portrayers: Tony Jay. I hope that Nigel becomes a regular member of Superman's rouges gallery.

1. Lex Luthor

Lex Luthor is Superman's main enemy as well as being my favorite Superman villain. He is a greedy business man who is really smart. Lex threatens Superman not by being strong, but by using his intelligence and money. He's basically a villainous version of Bruce Wayne. Lex is a interesting, cool, and entertaining villain. He is such a great villain that he is the leader of the Legion of Doom and the main villain in Justice League Unlimited.
"THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" (2012) Review

Five years ago, Christopher Nolan's three-movie saga about the D.C. Comics character, Batman, finally came to an end. The saga that began seven years earlier with 2005's "BATMAN BEGINS", ended with 2012's "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES".

Set seven years after 2008's "THE DARK KNIGHT", "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" began with the aerial kidnapping of a nuclear scientist by an escaped terrorist named Bane. The scene shifted to Gotham City, where a fund-raiser was being held at Wayne Manor. The only person missing was millionaire Bruce Wayne, who had given up his vigilante...

Superman is a 2006 DC film that stars Superman who is 1 of DC's most popular characters.

Note: This review is dedicated to Marlon Brando (1 of the best actors of all time.)

The Plot

After being gone for 5 years Superman returns to Earth. He is upset to find out that Lois Lane is engaged and has a son. Meanwhile Lex Luthor is working on a plan that puts the world in danger. It's up to Superman to save the world from Lex's dangerous scheme.

Superman Returns is a weird film. The film has 2 storylines. There is Superman's storyline with Lois and Lex's storyline. Lex's storyline is more interesting...

Batman, Batgirl, Flash, and Wonder Woman had been standing in front of the unbreakable stone barrier. Suddenly a blast broke through the stone barrier. I thought you said this stone wall was unbreakable? asked Batgirl It is unless Joker was doing that to mess with us. said Batman You are correct. said Joker stepping out from behind the wall. Now, now. Wasting your time fighting me is useless. said Joker, leaving. The action is awesome, a departure from any Superman films I’ve seen so far.
The casting is excellent, each actor well suited to their role.
This is more of a story of Kal-El than Clark Kent; from the very extensive opening scenes on Krypton to the arrival of General Zod and the threatened genocide of humanity, Man of Steel is about what it means to be human - how Kal-El finally accepts he is Clark Kent, and how human kind accepts Kal-El as one of our own. It’s a film about being an outsider - being different, and accepting who you are whether or not anyone else does. it is a story about faith; not necessarily religious - although there are some slight biblical references - but faith in others as well as yourself. Appropriately opening on Father’s Day weekend, it’s a film about fathers and sons,
