Damon & Elena Question

Just a question.

Sorry for my question, but in a way I'm really angry. In the show Stefan and Elena are inseparable. Katherine's return? Ahh nothing..they're ALWAYS the same boring and hateful couple -.-" And Elena doesn't look at Damon in a lovely way, she hates him or look at him as a friend..I'm really confused, why that? :S In 6 episodes always Elena-Stefan-Elena-Stefan-ELENA-STEFAN! Stop it! Why not a little bit of Delena? In that way our endgame will be just a dream. I want to know..in the books too things are going like that? I can't suffer it anymore..

Don't be sorry. You are perfectly justified to feel that way about SE and how the Season has progressed so far. After all, the writers built up DE steadily for 22 episodes, and in one episode, they knocked them down flat. It was a move that unnerved a lot of fans and didn't seem to make much sense, with some even thinking that DE wouldn't happen at all.
I'm not exactly sure why Kevin and Julie decided that it would be an excellent idea to knock DE back to square one, and risk upsetting thousands of fans, but I can guess.

1). It slows down the love triangle. It's got to last for most of the series right? That's a long time. Slowing down the triangle is a good thing (completely frustrating, but a good thing), because there are loads of SE/DB shippers who don't think DE will last the distance. One SE shipper I encountered described DE as 'a pot boiling over', in other words, that they wouldn't last. Bamon shippers are holding their breath hoping that as soon as DE are over, then Damon will fall in love with Bonnie. 'DE can't possibly last for all that time,' they think. 'Damon's got to fall in love with someone else.' The biggest clue that they're wrong is by what's happened so far. The writers definitely don't want to hurry DE.

2). Kevin and Julie have some idea that DE has the biggest fanbase. Rather than giving the audience what they want on a plate, they choose to prolong their fans anxiety by making them wait. It sounds cruel, but Kevin and Julie have more power over their audience by doing this. They want people to tune in every week, and this is one way for them to reach fans.

3). It makes people who already love DE love them even more, and people who like them want to.

4). It turns DE into an epic love story. No love story was ever made epic in 10 episodes or even one season.

5). It adds an unusual twist to the love triangle, and as we all know, the producers love that. Everyone knows the love triangle is what TVD is all about (or if not, then it's what people want to see the most). Rather than having it happen in a conventional way, it's more interesting for Elena to hate Damon first, and then somehow get past that. Also, it will be what a lot of people aren't expecting after 2x01.

I don't know if any of those reasons comforted you, but don't worry about whether DE will be endgame at this stage, because it's far too early for anyone to know. But DE WILL happen. Have faith.

The greatest couples have the greatest obstacles. So far, after all that has happened, Damon and Elena have had to be seperated yet and yet again. If they truly want to be together, they have to overcome the obstacles and admit that what they have is there, which is hard to do for them because being together would give them the chance to get inside each other's hearts... which also gives the other person the power to hurt them more than anything in the world. After all that Damon and Elena have gone through in their lives, how could they handle being hurt again?

They are in denial, but as the episodes continue, you can see that the "something" between them is growing and forming into some sort of undeniable relationship.

Yes there is alot, well more than alot of Stelena scenes, but their situation reminds me of Clark Kent and Lana Lang (if you watch Smallville or know the Superman saga). Clark Kent was hopelessly in love with Lana Lang like Elena is hopelessly in love with Stefan. But both their loves was, in a way, blind. When Lois Lane came to town, Clark Kent hated her, and didn't notice what was in front of him. It was always Lana, Lana, Lana, blah, blah, bleh! Like Elena keeps thinking Stefan Stefan Stefan... you get what I mean. I ended up freaking out thinking Clana was endgame- IT was SCARY! But Clark and Lois eventually became friends (reference to Delena's friendship)but Clark was still hopelessly in love with Lana. It wasn't until they finally broke up, that he started to see Lois is a new light. From there on branched a true love stronger than anything. I reference Clois to Delena because I see alot of parallells between them. && Clois was so meant to be so why isn't Delena ;)

So Don't give up on them, because I have a feeling Delena will end up surprising you...

Just my opinion :D
