Only a week after the shocking third season finale of Dallas, another bombshell for the fans of the TNT drama — the network has opted not to renew the series for a fourth season.
\'Gracepoint\', \'Bad Judge\' & \'A to Z\' Off To Slow Start, ABC Strong – Ratings Rat Race
“We are extremely proud of the series, which defied expectations by standing as a worthy continuation of the Ewing saga,” TNT spokesperson said. “We want to thank everyone involved with the show, from the extraordinary cast to the impeccable production team, led by the show’s creative forces, Cynthia Cidre and Mike Robin. We especially want to thank the people of Dallas for their warm and generous hospitality during the production of the series.”
Dallas, a sequel to the hugely successful 1980s primetime soap, centered on the next generations of the Ewing clan, with original cast members Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray and Larry Hagman reprising their roles. After a lengthy development and deal-making process, the series opened to big ratings in 2012. The following year, the show lost one of its biggest stars, Hagman, who died.
This is ridiculous!! I loved that show!!!!!! So pissed
This is just devastating news the show was amazing, the acting was incredible and the story line...
Well, another good show goes down the drain….
Is there gonna be someone to save it? It’s ended on cliffhanger so I feel for its audience. It’s hard to lose the show without any conclusion. Maybe two hour TV movie?
This is so wrong! Why would you cancel the BEST show on your network! I am not watching TNT any more!
I love this show whyyyyyyyyy? soooo good.
I stop watching after the season finale of when JR Ewing dies it was okay I just miss Larry Hagman it was boring
So disappointed in TNT.As Jim says another good show down the drain
Cancelling Dallas? Really? We are left with THAT cliffhanger and no answers. Its one of the best shows on TV. It has an amazing cast and GOOD storylines- something most shows are lacking. The problem is that it was on TNT. It needs to get picked up by a different network!!
This is just devastating news the show was amazing, the acting was incredible and the story line was left on a brilliant cliff hanger and opening for a whole new story. Please someone save this show.
