October. One of Kiki's favorite months. October meant Halloween and Halloween meant vampires, goblins, witches, ghosts, and things of that nature. Kiki by nature was sweet, mildly naive, and kind of girly, but she could never turn down a creepy monster movie....unlike Kuki, who shrieked at the mere mention of a spook.
She impatiently paced in the mission prep room, dressed in her purple cat nightgown.
"Guys, come ON!! The 'Month Of Monsters' show is TONIGHT! I wanna get to the theater before it gets crowded!"
Tonight, at the old theater downtown, they were showing a whole bunch of old monster movies (Kids get in free of course, but had to use their own money to get drinks and snacks). Kiki and monster movies went together like Kuki and Rainbow Monkeys
Hoagie, Abby, Minerva, Valentina, Megan, and Maddy came running down the stairs, all dressed in their pajamas. No sign of Wally, Kacey, and Kuki yet.
"GUYS!!?!"
Kacey slowly stomped down the stairs, dragging Wally by one of his footies.
"Do we HAVE to go? I hate old movies!" he whined.
Val whined, "Aw, c'mon Wally! The older movies are always the creepiest!"
"She's right. When I saw 'The Wolfman' for the first time, I couldn't sleep for DAYS."
"For HOW long?!" squeaked a voice from upstairs.
A very nervous Kuki came down, squeezing her "Snuggle-If-You-Get-Scared" monkey.
"What's wrong?" Maddy asked.
"Kuki doesn't like monster movies. Or scary movies in general. You know how sensitive she is." Abby answered.
"Sensitive, my foot! Kuki's a scaredy-cat!" Wally scoffed.
Kacey smacked him upside the head and Kiki punched his arm. She looked at her watch. 7:01.
"Allons-y! Allons-y! The show starts at 8!"
Impatient much? LOL
You'd expect a gihugic old movie theater to play a whole bunch of movies at once. Sadly, the theater was only playing 3: "Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde", "The Wolfman", and Kiki's absolute favorite: "Dracula".
"K, guys, we gotta decide who's seeing what."
Wally gulped. Even though he was a tough guy, creatures of the night made him uneasy. Kacey, Minerva, and Abby were seeing "Jekyll and Hyde", Kiki (obviously), Val (twice as obviously), Maddy, and Kuki were seeing "Dracula", and Hoagie and Megan were seeing "The Wolfman". There was no way on Earth he was gonna spend the night with a bunch of squealy, squirmy girls or with his cousin. So he did what he does best: Be the akward third wheel in Hoagie and Megan's "date".
Kiki entered her designated theater, carrying at least 10 boxes of candy. Val was to her right, kicking her legs and smiling; and Kuki, still shaking, was to her left.
"Kuki, trust me. This movie isn't that scary. In fact, it's kinda hypnotic and soothing."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I could've let you see the 1992 version of this, but it's WAY too bloody and violent. In fact there's this one part-"
Her face grew really pale.
"Ooops."
Just then, the light dimmed down, signaling the start of the movie.
"I'm right here if you get scared." she reassurred.
Kuki smiled.
Over in the "Jekyll and Hyde" theater, Minerva was constantly texting. Not even 20 minutes into the movie, and she had already sent 115 texts. Kacey had to snatch the phone from her, since she was close to going ape.
Over in the "Wolfman" theater, Hoagie was constantly trying to make his move on Megan whenever she jumped. Everyone else in the theater got the extra scare from the loud smack across Hoagie's face. Wally kept cracking up. Not just at Hoagie getting abused by his "girlfriend", but at all the really gory parts. Unfortunatly, all of his laughing got him kicked out of the theater. And since it was an OLD one, he couldn't kill time by playing videogames.
About an hour and a half later everyone met up with him.
"So, how was it?"
Kacey and Abby smiled.
"Ours was very interesting! Numbuh 5 LOVES movies that make you think."
He turned to Kiki and her little group. All of them looked like they were in a hypnotic state.
"So...?"
All 4 answered in a tone similar to the Delightful Children: "Listen to them! Children of the night...vhat sweet music they make...."
Kacey snapped her fingers. All 4 snapped out of it.
"It was AWESOME!" they chirped.
He turned to Hoagie and Megan.
"How'd it end?"
"Figure it out for yourself!" Megan snapped, obviously annoyed from all of Hoagie's antics.
He groaned.
"Ok, guys, we gotta go. Kiki, Megan, Maddy? You guys spending the night again?"
All 3 nodded.
"C'mon! Can't you gimmie a hint?"
Megan snarled.
He backed up. "Heh heh...I'll um...look it up later."
Kacey motioned the others out the door.
All 3 Sector Q members cheered."YAY! SLUMBER PARTY!"

My issue here is that when my KND of Oz whatever story is over(don't worry, there is still plenty left), I am fresh out of ideas to write the next one. I know, it's a sign of the end of the world. Comment what you REALLY want me to write, or new characters you want me to put in, or whatever. I need your guy's help. Anyway, your guy's ideas are usaly beter than mine, so syphon off whatever you can. Pretty please?
