Kacey yawned, "Lately? No.", She looked at her iPhone. 1:00 AM, "You know that evil never sleeps."
The rest of the team wandered out, most still waking up.
"Whose butt do we gotta kick THIS time?" Megan groaned.
"Well, there are only a few people who I can think of that are still up at this hour." said a voice.
Everyone jumped...then realized it was Kiki....still in her "day clothes" and with her G.U.M.Z.O.O.K.A. in hand.
"And one of those people is a supervillain." she finished.
Maddy pondered for a minute.
"Crazy Old Cat Lady? Professer XXXL? Toilenator? NONONONO wait! I got it! THOSE ICE CREAM DUDES!!"
Megan, Kiki, and just about everyone else did a facepalm.
Val rolled her eyes. "Nuh-uh! It's Daddy....up to his no-good anti-kid stuff. AGAIN."
"Right." Kiki said, smiling.
Kacey sighed.
"Remind me we have to get a restraining order against him. Anyways, KIDS NEXT DOOR! BATTLE STATIONS!!"
Everyone cheered (meekly, mind you) and gathered up their stuff and went to the S.C.A.M.P.E.R.....everyone, that is, except for Kuki.
Wally ran back to get his S.L.U.G.G.U.H. when he found Kuki, standing in the middle of the room and clutching the hell out of her "Sleepy Snuggler" Rainbow Monkey.
"Come on, Kooks! What's the holdup?" he asked.
She sighed.
"I....I....I...I don't want to go. Not after what happened during our big mission at school."
He walked up and put an arm around her (and blushed like crazy).
"Look. That happened a LONG time ago. Besides, we came out just fine."
"Yeah....but....what if THIS time, he gets me?"
Wally grew impatient.
"Jeez, ever since Kiki got over her fear, YOU'VE seemed to catch it!"
Kuki burst out crying. Wally gulped, feeling really bad.
"Look....How's about you stay by my side through the whole mission? I won't let him get you."
...Oh god. I can hear all of the fangirls going "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!!!!!". Anyways....
Kuki smiled. She grabbed her T.H.U.M.P.E.R. and Wally's hand.
"Wait for us, Kace'!!!" she shouted.

Down by the playground, there were a whole bunch of kids and teens either running around like crazy or crying their eyes out (Yes. Teens are still up and out at this hour. Kids? Meh....maybe they're with their teenage brothers and/or sisters).
The team had just arrived. Megan, Kiki, and Kacey were at the gate while the others surrounded the area.
"PUT 'EM UP, SPANK-FACE!!" Kiki shouted, pointing her weapon at the villain.
"Seriously? I would've said something like 'Reach for the sky, spankenstine!'" Hoagie said.
Abby smacked him with her hat.
TC (see Op. B.U.N.C.H. if you don't know what it stands for...but by now, you should know what it's short for) stopped and stood up. The twins who was getting punished fell to the ground.
"I'M FREEEEEEEEE!!!" they yelled. The Count grabbed both by their collars.
"Hush! I'm not finished with you two!"
He turned to the KND kids.
"Name-calling? Seriously? Isn't that a bit juvinile?" he asked.
"SHUT UP!", Kacey shouted, "Let the twins go....or face the wrath of a very tired 12-year-old!! "
TC rolled his eyes.
"Oh, please. Such insolence..."
Megan and Kiki started shooting at him. Megan actually managed to hit him a few times....whereas Kiki only hit his cape.
"I just bought ths yesterday!!" he moaned. He let go of the twins' collars and started walking towards Kiki. Then he smiled evilly and headed towards Kacey. She started backing up...then noticed the hill behind her. She stopped and cockilly said, "COME AND GET ME!"
TC gasped and started running towards her. At the last second, she stuck out her foot and tripped him. Down at the bottom of the hill, Kuki was slowly making her way up. She didn't notice the rolling villain coming towards her.
Wally gasped.
"KUKI!!!! LOOK OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUT!!!!!!!" he shouted at the top of his lungs.
She looked up and screamed. A few minutes later, everyone heard a loud BONK! and screaming.
The team ran down the hill. Kuki was crying and holding her hand, while TC rubbed his head.
"Lemme see your hand...." Maddy (who was in the middle of earning her KND medical officer certification) said.
Marks.
Fang marks.
Deep fang marks.
"All right, we've got to get you to the hospital. Kacey and Megan, you help her get to the S.C.A.M.P.E.R.. Hoagie, you get some gauze. Everyone else, let's move out!!" Kiki said, going into what her friends called "army general mode".
Everyone did as they were directed. Except for Wally, who was livid .
" YOU!!!!!!!!!!! " he shrieked at the sore Count.
"It....it...it was an accident!" he said.
Wally didn't care. He pounced on top of hima nd started to beat the crud out of him. Abby grabbed him by his collar.
"Come on, tough stuff...." she said.
As he was being dragged off, Wally shouted every known expletive at the Count.
"To the hospital!" Kacey said epiclly.
The S.C.A.M.P.E.R. started up and within 2 minutes, was out of sight.
