I love both of these movies to pieces, but I grew up with The Great Mouse Detective and I find it more enjoyable overall.

I haven`t watched The Black Cauldron, but I really doubt I would like it more than The Great Mouse Detective. I`ve watched TGMD many times and I totally love Fidget.

I just couldn't get into the Black Cauldron..It isn't a bad movie or anything but it just seemed to lack something for me.
