This wasn't an easy article to write. Since, I'm not much of writer to begin with, also my tastes are always changing. I know my list is... um... "different" to say the least. In fact some might say it's down right WEIRD. As I'm sure you've noticed, I'm not really into the "classic" and "popular" characters. Anyway hope you find my favorites interesting.

#10 Lightening McQueen and Sally
(Cars)
They're one of the most complex, and interesting Pixar couples, in my opinion. I love how he's a rich city boy without a care and she a girl who ran away to country to get away from guys like him. She teaches...

It took me a long time to get this all put together. While I was make this list my heart just completely broke. It was really hard deciding what scenes would be included and which wouldn't. There's a lot of sad moments that unfortunately didn't make the cut. I had to watch many sad clips and it killed me to have to watch them, they broke my heart! I cried so many times and I'm a guy who hardly ever cries! Anyway please leave a comment telling me what you think, enjoy.

I will not be doing detailed descriptions of each girl. DEAL WITH IT! lol no, but seriously, just small captions for each.

The winner is a bit suspicious but whatever, I'll put this article up anyway. I think there wasn't any rigging, just a lack of voters.

It was clear disney dominated in these polls, though some non-disney heroines managed to edge their way to the top.

Anyway, my personal favorite is Esmeralda. She's got the perfect body, Emerald eyes, the whole package.

The winner is a bit suspicious, but again, I think it's caused by lack of votes rather than rigging.

I've decided to put whether I actually liked the films aside to spotlight some films who have ladies as main protagonists (not secondary) so this list is not in any particular order. I am excluding Disney and Pixar since you probably have seen a majority of them. Sadly I am not mentioning Ghibli films because they are a company where about 90% of their films are led to girls so all I have to do is tell you to pick up almost any one of their movies to get some leading ladies. I will also mention the Barbie films because ALL of them have female leads.
Note these are movies I have actually watched...

5. The Secret of Nimh
I know this is considered one of his greats but I have a hard time loving this movie as much as the others on this list. It is a good film though; the acting, animation, action, music, characters, all of them are equally good and enjoyable. Some scenes are pretty intense though like the sword fight in the climax. I would not recommend showing this to small children unless you know they can handle it.

4. An American Tail
Like The Secret of Nimh, this is an intense film but is still enjoyable. Though this film doesn't have that many scary scenes, it's a very sad movie about...

Much like my old article where I compared Ariel and Merida, I decided to continue it after quite a few years. But this time it's me comparing movies that are similar, though not something I'm planning on making a habit of. So far, I'm just going to be doing Pocahontas vs Anastasia and Sleeping Beauty vs The Swan Princess. We'll see where it goes from there. We'll be starting with, by popular demand, Pocahontas vs Anastasia. First of all, I'm not going to bring up the historical inaccuracy of the two films because that's just really pointless. They're not meant to be educational, they're meant...

Much like my recent Pocahontas vs Anastasia article, I'm continuing my movies vs movies article with Sleeping Beaty vs The Swan Princess. A little background is that both movies are based off plays by Tchaikovsky, Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. Although Sleeping Beauty is also based-off the original fairy-tale by Charles Perrault and a little bit off the story of Briar Rose by the Brothers Grim. Unfortunately, for both the Charles Perrault Sleeping Beauty and the original play of Swan Lake, it ends in tragedy. Sleeping Beauty didn't wake up from her deep sleep from true love's kiss, it was...

This is my first article on this spot so I decided to start with my favorite animated females. Most of them are from Disney because I didn't grew up with so many non Disney movies. I include all kinds of females so that means sidekicks, animals, villains and main characters.

20. Cinderella (Cinderella)

I love her because she's so faithful and because she managed to stay positive despite having to work so hard for her stepmother and stepsisters. But my biggest problem with her is that sometimes it looks like she's just standing without doing anything, like when her stepsisters yelled at...

Okay I know I wrote an article about this on the Disney Princess Club, but it was awhile ago so I decided to especially write this article for those of you who are new and don't know me well, but if you do you can skip to the questions that are created for this club.

My username is sweetie-94, I wanted a special username since this was the first site where I had to come up with a username that wasn't related to my real name.

My real name is Teresa which I read doesn't really have a true meaning, but according to that site it can mean huntress in latin.

I'm 18 years old, but I'll turn 19 September...

These have been popping up here, and I thought it would be fun to make one (:

My real name is Annika (ANN-EH-KA) Sorry, I get lots of pronunciations. I'm only 13, but I'll be turnign 14 on Oct. 13th. I live in the United States. I keep my Disney/Animated movie obsession a secret. *sigh* Middle school. Anyways, my IQ is 150 o-o I love math, history, chemistry, and English. I hope to attend Stanford or Princeton. I want to get into animation or maybe prosthetic makeup. I love writing and drawing. I'm super shy, and antisocial, which makes the Internet just the thing for me (; Now it's time for...

Hi guys! In the last couple of weeks I read a number of articles about favourite animated heroines or most beautiful animated heroines, so I decided to post two articles, one with my favourite heroines, and one with the animated heroines I find most beautiful. So enjoy and share which your favourite animated heroines are :)

20. IRENE (The Princess and the Goblin)

Let me give you a kiss to thank you.

My two favorite CAMH soundtracks
The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Prince of Egypt are my two favorite animated movie soundtracks, Hunchback my favorite Disney soundtrack and Prince of Egypt my favorite non-Disney soundtrack. They are somewhat similar in style and both have religious undertones, so I thought it would be fun to write and article comparing the two.

Opening Song: The Bells of Notre Dame vs. Deliver Us
The Bells of Notre Dame- This is the epic opener to Hunchback. The theme repeated throughout Hunchback is first heard in this song. It is the story of how Quasi became the bellringer and poses the moral question...

I know some of you think all I'm doing is hating on stuff but I don't see the big deal. Besides I guess I'm in the mood of hating things because of watching the Nostalgia Critic. Just so you know this is counting all animated movies, including sequels, whether or not their in this list. As many of you know almost a year ago I made an article about this but now my opinion has changed. In fact some of the movies like Lady and The Tramp and Spirit I really like now. Also while other movies that were originally on my list are really bad they're not really horrendous. These movies are so bad that...

My list can change drastically but there are some things that never change. Some characters who are considered gorgeous are not on it, that's why it's my personal list. This is only based on looks but I have to love the way she looks, it's not necessarily who I think looks 'perfect'. Besides, I think flaws usually add up to someone's beauty. Doing the sexiest animated heroines article made me take a second look at other characters and I must say I've overlooked some characters' appearances.

So, i promised to introduce some not so well known girls to you, so let´s start! XD

For the first article on this subject, i choosed to take the girls i used for the pick i made^^

~Alyonushka~

She comes from the movie "Ilya Muromets i Solovey Razboynik/Ilja Muromets and Nightingale the Robber", which was released in 2007.
It´s a russian production and tells the story of Ilya Muromets, a russian hero, who goes on the search for his best friend, the magic horse Burushka. ( in the german version "Goldmähne", meaning goldmane)

It wasn't easy narrowing it down to just 10 ladies, but I gave it my best shot!

10. Thumbelina

"Will they like me?"

Don't let her pint size appearance fool you...she gets into more trouble than you could ever imagine! She's sweet and just adorable, plain and simple. I love her outfits, and I really love her long flowing hair. I feel bad for her thoughout most of the movie...all she wants is to find her sweet Fairy Prince, and life just keeps throwing curve balls her way. But eventually, she overcomes her obstacles, marries her handsome Prince, and viola! She becomes a fairy!

20.Colours of the Wind(Pocahontas)
Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon. Or ask the grinning bob cat why he grinned. Can you sing with all the voices of the mountain. Can you paint with all the colours of the wind.

I want adventure in the great wide somewhere. I want it more then I can tell. and for once it might be grand. to have someone understand. I want so much more then they've got planned.

As some of you might be aware, there is going to be a potential live-action remake of the 1994 animated classic, The Swan Princess. The original movie is one of my all-time favorite movies, not just in animation but in general. It has fantastic songs, a lovely score, great characters, beautiful animation, a cool villain, awesome action scenes, funny comedy, and an engaging romance. So I am both very excited and cautious about the live-action remake, due to how much the animated movie means to be (I was actually born only twenty-one days before the movie was released in theaters). I don’t...

Well! This was pretty overdue. I wrote my favorite Disney Princesses list years ago (which I am now less than satisfied with, and may need to rewrite) but have done no articles ranking any general animated girls. So this might be a bit long, but I hope you enjoy!

Honorable mentions:Eilonwy, The Chipettes, The Three Good Fairies, Flora, Tecna, Raven, Misty, Jane Porter, Captain Amelia, Wendy Darling, Pocahontas, Katrina Van Tassel, Moana, Tiana, Lottie, Nakoma, Duchess and Marie, Marina, Miriam, Odette, Amalthea, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Jupiter, Sophie Hatter, Lorna, Honey Lemon,...

10. Nightcrawler

To be honest, 10th place could have been anyone. It was so hard for me to decide but here's the trouble maker, Nightcrawler. Come on, ''chicks dig the fuzzy dude!'' and teleportation is the most useful superpower ever. He was raised by Germans but biologically he's Mystique's son and Rogue's brother.

Thomas is not one of those characters I feel forced to feel bad for. No...
