Can you believe that I watched American Idol tonight for the first time ever and I about fell out of my seat! Here's why:

A few years ago I tried my hand at lyric writing and I created several songs. One was about my dad who was killed by a drunk driver on New Year's Eve. I took it to a gal from my church named Brooke White.

Brooke is a professional singer and she agreed to give me feedback and some pointers. At the end of our first meeting she said that she thought the song was really good and that it could "go somewhere."

My dream with this song is to have it recorded and used by M.A.D.D...
