The days and minutes were a blur to Jarrah. They went by with such pace. Nothing seemed to matter to Jarrah expect the trip to Japan. She couldn’t wait to eat lots of sushi and noodle soup. The day finally came for the trip to Japan and as she boarded the luxurious business class plane, she farewelled Melbourne and Jarrah and her class were away!!!
The plane was an amazing sight. The seats were covered in black leather of the highest quality. The floor had cream coloured carpet that was as clean as a brand new dinner plate. The food was delicious and had loads of variety. Jarrah had the fettuccine carbonara and Amber had a big bowl of lemon gelato with almond biscotti. The friends shared their Italian-themed food with each other (and their iPods for that matter) all the way to Japan.

“Hey Jarrah! How was the party on Saturday?” said Amber, her best friend, as she approached the lockers. “Not too bad actually. But as always you were grounded so it wasn’t as fun as it could have been.” “Well for your information Miss “My best friend is always grounded” we currently have my aunt and uncle staying at our house so I had to do the boring jobs like unpacking their belongings for them and making the guest beds up.” This was not unusual in Amber’s household because their aunt and uncle aren’t that well off, so they get kicked out of their rental properties regularly for not paying rent on time. “You’re such a tease Amber! Hey, I think that was the bell! We should get our books! You know how mad Mr Stenson gets when we’re late.”
As Jarrah walked into her very expensive high school for what felt like the millionth time, she was greeted, as usual, by everybody. After all, this is Jarrah we are talking about. Jarrah is the girl that every girl wants to be, and the girl every guy wants to date. Jarrah is a perfect human being: All her teeth are perfectly aligned and pearly white. Her hair is naturally curly, but is always straightened and is a light shade of mocha. Her legs are always shaved and spray tanned and her face is pimple-free and imperfection-free and just like the rest of her: perfect!
