Letter from Stephen Nathan, Executive Producer of BONES about 7x04

Dear Privileged Few,

Even though the episode is still being finished (sound, color timing, VFX, etc), we wanted our friends in the press to see it before it airs. Yes, it contains the usual horrifying remains and bizarre collection of suspects, but this episode includes a bit more – while we are usually reluctant to use the “very special episode” moniker, we feel that David’s performance is truly impressive. With the phenomenal support of our brilliant Emily, as well as Ralph Waite and Tina Majorino, David has brought new life and dimension to Booth and to his relationship with Brennan. We all feel very fortunate this year to be able to take the show into new and uncharted waters.

The “Male in the Mail” episode of BONES airing Thursday, Dec. 1 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. And as always, we are grateful for your support.

Ok, I know that I might write too many fan fictions but I'm sick again and there's nothing else to do. Rate and comment!

Brennan was sitting alone in her office, working. Her and Booth were on the verge of closing another case. Except this case had been quite awkward, and she wasn’t one to feel that way. In fact, the fact that she had felt awkwardly had made her feel even more awkward. She had taken a while to figure out what she was feeling, because she just wasn’t used to it. I didn't get any feedback on the last section I wrote, but maybe if I continue I will. So here goes:

She's beautiful. I can't believe I forgot her, of all the people. Maybe I didn't forget, Sweets would probably tell me that I didn't, that I still remember her, if only distantly. I think I do remember her. Just looking at her, like now, I feel this pull at the way back of my mind. Booth thought as he looked at the woman before him, the woman who he had been told is his partner, Dr. Temperance Brennan. Temperance Brennan. Beautiful, it fits her. I don't know though, I don't think I'd call her...
