Waiting up to watch the last ever episode of Bones ;_; it's currently 4:14am where I am. I stopped watching Bones during season 7 but it has continued to have a place in my heart. I still think about the early seasons a lot (season 2 tho can we justttt!!! ♥) I've caught up on a few of the highlight eps and most of s12 bc I just had to end this journey out with Bones. My opinion may sound unpopular, but does anybody else have a feeling, that show has jumped the shark? I'm sorry to admit I quit watching Bones after the s.6 finale (maybe 2 or 3eps more, but I didn't feel it). As I really LOVE seasons 1-3 - which may be related to my great dedication to dr Zack Addy - and still appreciate what happened in s. 4&5; I got a feeling that the series lost its spirit. I was looking forward to this season based on last season's finale, and the preview of booth in jail, but after starting the episode, I was soon waiting for sweets to make an appearance, and when he did I was grinning and happy to see him, only for him to get killed at the end. I was seriously shocked, don't think i've felt that particular brand of shock since Ace's death or Fred and Wesley's. R.I.P. I don't know how to feel about the season finale... Since B&B became an official couple I was praying for not having an engagement or even worst, a wedding, don´t get me wrong, it's just that to me a wedding didn't feel natural with a character like Bones, a 100% rational commitment to stay together for the rest of their lives was perfect.
