Just my two cents, I think we should stick it out here. It's somewhat easier to get more people to join, there's no need to transplant the story we already have, and we have an active IM system so that we can talk with each other. I mean no offense to the Gaia website, though truth be told, my experiences on other forums is that they're relatively isolated. That's good in some ways, but when we're actively recruiting, I think there's a benefit to a more open forum.

I agree with Whiteflame, we already have written a lot on here already and it would be a shame to have to go through it all over again. That introduction isn't a bad one and I actually have an idea that would allow her to have her character and still control Aizen and the Espada. By the way, Whiteflame, my internet is sucking again so I have do some downloading of security updates before I get back on to chatting.

Alright, got another introductory post. This one's a bit longer than the first, mainly because it's an introduction to two characters: Renee and Acelin. Hope you enjoy!

The fencing grounds were awash in white-clothed bodies of weary and heavily bruised soul reapers. Many had removed their masks, revealing heads drenched in sweat. Foils lay scattered across the ground as well, many bent, cleaved, or even shattered.

It seemed incongruous with the activity itself. When she’d made it mandatory for her squad to practice, she had meant to reduce injuries and improve skill dramatically. Unfortunately, some were better than others, and Renee had never accounted for the amazing strength of certain soul reapers.

Acelin was the only one still standing, and he hadn’t even broken a sweat. The mask still covered his head, though she could tell that he was staring derisively and his fallen foes. The man was strong, she could give him that. His finesse, however, was lacking. That had always been a problem for him. He didn’t defeat his opponents via superior skill, though he was hardly a beginner. Many of the men and women lying around him were far more skilled. However, strength and speed aided him tremendously, and despite a lack of polish, he was more than formidable, even against so many. Of course, she’d known that when she invited him into the squad, that’s why she allowed the other members to use abilities while denying him access to any. She had also increased the tensile strength of their uniforms, hoping that the extra defense would allow more opportunities against him. Same result. He remained untouched.

Acelin: Come now, none of you are worthy? It may be uncouth of me to say so, but is this all the 9th Squad has to offer? And here, I had thought I was getting an illustrious invitation!

Renee had inserted him as a 10th seat member, though at this rate, she knew she couldn’t keep him there. She had yet to see his shikai in action, but from reports she had heard, it was brutally strong. The man would bully himself to the top sooner or later. She could feel his gaze traveling to her every now and then, a not-so-subtle reminder of his aspirations.

Acelin: However, you have all proven yourselves capable, if not against me. Perhaps your captain would do me the honor of engaging me in a duel?

He had guts, she had to give him that. He turned to face her directly.

Acelin: How about it, mon chérie?

Silver-tongued rogue. She was no one’s “darling.” The French jibe was not lost on her.

Renee: Alright.

She walked slowly and deliberately over to a nearby soul reaper and requested his foil, one of the few that hadn’t been damaged, though he was worse for the wear. He smiled at her, mouthing words she did not know, but could comprehend well enough. Each and every one of them wanted to see this smug prick get what was coming to him.

Acelin frowned: What, no uniform? I realize you are a captain, but I do believe in chivalry, Mademoiselle. Any chance of seeing harm come to y-

Renee: Use your full power this time, and what flash step you know. And feel free to release your shikai as well.

His frown deepened. He didn’t like being made light of, that was plain, though he would soon know much deeper shame. Renee dismissed the other squad members around them, making sure that the ones who couldn’t move were assisted out of the area. She didn’t want them suffering any undue injuries.

Renee looked the foil over. It wasn’t anything special, merely the standard issue for these practices. She didn’t normally use such a light weapon as the one she wielded now, though she had trained many decades in fencing.

Acelin: That mocking tone wi-

Renee: You want my captain seat? Have at it. This is your chance.

A flame burst to life in those eyes. There was anger there, but also greed. Yes, this one wanted much more than a high seat in her squad.

He spoke no more words. He didn’t take her advice and release his blade, instead choosing to rush at her full force, appearing behind her in a flurry of speed. It was still too slow. She parried his thrust easily, letting the follow-up slash slide up the length of her blade as she ducked under it. He kicked out with his right leg at her crouched position. She only needed to shift her head ever so slightly, the force of his kick colliding with nothing but air. She wrapped an arm around the now outstretched leg, sweeping the other out from under him with her own. He fell with a surprised grunt, lashing out again in a wild strike with his blade. She blocked it with her own, but to her surprise, was pushed back by the force of the blow.

He was strong, and determined. A dark cast had overcome his face as he rose from the ground, brushing himself off. This time, he lunged forward, an obvious feint. Renee pretended to fall for it, angling her blade to parry the blow. He smiled as his blade dipped downward, going for an upward slash. The obvious ploy was his undoing, however. She pushed herself inside the swing instead of sidestepping it, slamming her elbow against his chest. He grunted as her strike lifted him off the ground, sending him sprawling on his back. In an instant, the tip of her foil was at his throat. His face twisted in a grimace.

Renee: If you want to keep trying, you can always unleash that shikai of yours.

She pulled back the foil and turned to walk away, Acelin’s calm and civilized demeanor disappeared behind a wave of rage.

Acelin: Devenir ma cheville ouvrière… Shōgeki!

Power surged around him as a metallic cloak formed on his shoulders. He billowed it behind him, revealing two massive cannons under each of his arms. Shots rang out as missiles of energy shot out at his intended target. When they hit, the explosions blew back many of the surrounding soul reapers.

When the smoke cleared, Renee’s blade was once again at his throat, his cloak sheared away from his collar and lying back up on the ground. The look on his face was pained as he yielded.

Renee: You’re predictable. You’ve got the speed and the power, but you’ll need more if you’re planning on replacing me.

Renee dropped her blade, staring him straight in the eyes.

Renee: Respecting authority is more than just a series of pretty words. While you’re in my squad, you’ll need to show some of that respect, even if you don’t feel it. If you plan on following me into battle, I need to know that you’re reliable. Do that, and this won’t be your last chance to unseat me.

Renee once again turned to walk away, leaving Acelin to regain his composure and slink back to his chambers.

Heyo guys srry about last night I fells asleep ill post the next part of the story but it'll be long so you might have to wait awhile.

It's fine. We can't all become robots just to continue the RP at ridiculous times in the morning. We just post when we can, yeah.

Aion: We will do as Mil says and rest for a while. However we will need to train more for the coming battles. So Rose and I have planned an expidition to the kingdom.

Mil: Are you sure about this master Aion our kingdom has fallen and its now been inhabited by shadow beasts.

Aion: This makes it all the more suitable for our training we have suffered a decline in power since the time of our sealing the shadow beasts should prove useful in our combat.

Val: What about Kenshi the beasts of our homeland would prove too strong for him.

Aion walks up to Kenshi.

Aion: He goes with us the fact that there is no nighttime in the kingdom will allow for extended training.

Kanna walks into the room. Aion you have a visitor.

Aion: Who?

A petit girl walks from behind Kanna with a fierce expresion on hr face. Everyone is struck dumb by the newcomer.

???: Aion how dare you?!?!

The girl summons a lancee of light and lunges at Aion. Aion sidesteps but is met by a kick to the side of his face, knocking him into the adjacent wall. The girl lunges at Aion again who tries to defend himself. The resulting impact knocks both Aion and the girl through the wall. Aion recovers and prepares a shakkahou but has his arm twisted behind his back and is kicked to the ground where the girl pierces his chest with the lance.

Kanna:(laughs) amusing.

Kenshi awakened appears behind the girl with his zanpakuto to her neck. An invisible force knocks the boy into the far wall.

???: You have three seconds to explain what happened to May.

She pulls the lance from Aions chest.

Aion: (coughing) arrancar took her.

She punches Aion in the face, maneuvering her fist so that the back of his head hits the ground. She walks up to Rose.

???: Tell me everything.

Rose: Shell it wasn't Aions fault.(bursts into tears)

The Fallout forum is my first. A couple of people I met on here and myself built it from the ground up, didn't really know what we were doing, but managed pretty well since it's technically still going (have a bit of a hiccup since one of our main writers has gone MIA). We started it in the "make your own zanpakuto" forum, so I can't be certain of when exactly we started, but I'd say about a year and a half.

That's pretty cool I strted reading fallout a while ago and now I just figured out why I didn't understand it. Didn't read the one on make your own zanpakuto. Frost by the way Shell is gonna be a hrdass on the guys.

-Captains Meeting-

Toshiro: I called this meeting for several reasons. One, I want to talk to you about those 'beings' we encountered earlier and, two, one of our follow Captains has a proposal to make.

Kogase: Sir, I believe I have found the information you requested. They are called Schola, ancient beings who possess the ability to manipulate light in any form or wavelength. They are extremely powerful, as we found earlier. The tome I found tells of the Captain-Commander before Geryuusai Yamamoto, who, along with the Captains at that time, sealed them away.

Toshiro: Thanks, Kogase. Any questions? *silence* Toshiro blinks: Well, in that case, I suppose I will allow you your chance to talk, Demandred.

Demandred: As some of you already know, *shoots a glance at Takuma, Renee and Hideaki*, I have decided upon expanding my previous idea to infiltrate Hueco Mundo, so we can defeat the Espada and Aizen. Hideaki can replicate the design of a technique, which creates a Garganta, like that mad scientist, Mayuri Korotsuchi, and Kisuke Urahara. *At the mention of these two names, Hideaki narrowed his eyes and glared slightly at Demandred*

Renji: I'll go. I want to fight that Espada again. This time he won't know what hit him.

Toshiro: Wait. We haven't decided on anything yet. We will have a vote. Majority rules, if ten of thirteen Captains say yes, then I will let this expedition go ahead.

Everyone voted, and , as it turned out, all, but two of the Captains were interested in allowing the mission to go ahead. Only Soi Fon and Isane were against it.

Soi Fon: I say no. This is a stupid idea and I have no interest in allowing a mission like that.

Isane: I am not strictly against it, but I feel that many will get injured of this goes ahead and, as a healer, I will have to say no.

Toshiro: So we have decided then. Who is interested in going along to Hueco Mundo.

Out of nowhere, Raijin kicks open the door to Toshiro's office.

Raijin: I will go. I will defeat Aizen!

Kogase, glaring: How dare you barge in to a Captains Meeting.

Toshiro: No, its okay, I told him to come. Though I don't appreciate you kicking my door like that, Raijin. Next time, knock!

Raijin: Sorry, Captain-Commander. *Not really looking sorry at all, but slightly sheepish*

Renji: As I said before the vote, I will go.

Toshiro: For now, lets leave it and come back to it another day. I wish to talk with Raijin Masamune alone...

The Captains each nodded in turn, then they all left.

The top of the fallout forum includes a rather long summary of the story that was written in make your own zanpakuto, though it may still be somewhat confusing. We managed to finish a whole arc, still working on the second.

Shell: Like hell it isn't!! He's supposed tone our strongest! Our leader! But he can't even save our youngest member!

Val: Shell. What's done us done. You need to calm down!

Shell: *turns to him and glares*don't you dare tell me what to do you psychopath!!

Mil: Shell!

Shell: *turns to face him still glaring*

Mil: I understand that you are in distress. But attacking your comrades isn't going to bring may back any faster. I advise you know your place and just go along with our plan.

Shell: * angrily lookin from side to side* Dammit! *she punches the wall on anger as she walks out*

Kenshi:*climbs out of hole he was knocked into* ow....*rubbing head* Why is shell so mad?

Zanpakuto: Zabimaru

Bankai: Hihio Zabimaru

Abilities:

Hikotsu Taiho ('Baboon cannon') Hihio Zabimaru pirouettes in mid-air, and heads straight for the opponent, forcing them back, then releases a red beam, similar to a Cero, and probably about as powerful as a Cero from a high-level Arrancar Fraccion.

Issanni ('At top speed') This ability allows Renji to move much faster, even with the added bulk of Hihio Zabimaru. When used, it lasts for approximately one minute. After being used, it requires a one minute cooldown, before it can be used again. This ability will give Renji two and a half times more speed than normal.

Jadoku ('Snake venom') When Zabimaru traps the opponent with the coils of reiatsu in between the links making up its body, it curls around the body and then sinks its fangs into the opponent, injecting a dangerous nerve toxin that breaks down reiatsu, causing it become weaker and slows the opponents motor speed.

Revised Vasare Zanpakuto

Name: Vasare Buigetsu

Zanpakuto: Meiyakuchi ('Blood pact')

Release command: Slash downward (Kiriorosu)

Bankai: Yuudoku Meiyakuchi ('Poisonous blood pact')

Shikai abilities:

Shikai is a short, sickle-like blade, with a black/red tsuba and a guard that resembles a pair of fangs. The blade is red and glows when it cuts the opponent. When Meiyakuchi glows, it has sucked out the blood that seeped from the wound. This can either be used on the opponent or on the wielder.

Touzukuchi ('Blood thief') This ability is for when the wielder cuts themself. When Meiyakuchi takes blood from the wielder, their reiatsu gets a five percent bonus, but, in exchange, five percent of their blood is taken into the Zanpakuto, which holds the blood. When it holds blood from the wielder, it glows blue.

Bakuchi ('Blood gain') When Meiyakuchi takes blood from the opponent, they lose five percent of their blood, which slows their reaction speed by two percent. The five percent of their blood is taken into the Zanpakuto and the wielder of Meiyakuchi gains that five percent of blood back. When the opponent's blood is taken, the Zanpakuto glows red and a red line grows up the wielder's arm, until the opponent's blood cells have been transferred. The blood type of the opponent is changed while in Meiyakuchi, and becomes the same blood type as the wielder.

Bankai abilities:

Bankai: Bankai is a nodachi, which is longer and slimmer than in Shikai. The blade curves downwards nears the end and has a series of small spikes extending downwards between the curve of the blade and where the blade becomes straight (closer to the tsuba). The Guard is the same, but black instead of gold. The blade of the Zanpakuto is black, but has a red aura around it. When the Zanpakuto cuts the opponent, the blade glows redder and the series of small spikes secrete a toxin into the blood the opponent, which slows the reaction speed and reiatsu of the opponent. The amount slowed by is dependant on the size of the cut and how much blood is released when cut (can be anywhere from 0.1 perecent, to 15 percent)
The amount of reiatsu drained when cut can is small, even with a large cut, but repeated strikes will continue to absorb small amounts of reiatsu (this can be from about 0.1 percent to 2.5 percent)

Touzukuchi can still be used in conjunction with the Bankai ability, but Bakachi cannot be used in Bankai.

My apologies guys, but I'll have somewhat intermittent Internet access these next few days (traveling). I can still read posts and post short things like this, but only through my phone, so I can't post in series, though I'm happy to write up posts offline and post them when I can. The next time should be tomorrow afternoon, so it's up to you if you want to skip me for now.

I'll just post for you then, Whiteflame. And we can wait till tomorrow for your next post, which can just be a follow-on of the one I do today, since I probably won't be able to come on here till late tomorrow night if at all.

Rajin: What did you want to talk to me about, Captain-Commander?

Toshiro: Well, your reiatsu is quite dense and powerful and outclasses that of even Vice-Captains, so I think that you will have to undergo Bankai training. You see, many years ago (about six hundred or so) these training grounds were built by Kisuke Urahara and used by him and the former Captain of Squad Two, Yorouichi Shihoin. These are specially built to allow the trainee to learn Bankai in three or less days. Most people can't use them, as their growth rate isn't fast enough. However, the former Substitute Shinigami, Ichigo Kurosaki, used these training grounds and learned his Bankai in three days.

Raijin: But, why do you think that will help me?

Toshiro: Because your growth rate is quite uncanny. Matsumoto told me that it only took you about two monthes in the Dangai to learn your Shikai and then just under ten monthes to learn different abilities associated with your Shikai and master it.

Raijin: And I just thought that was typical.

Toshiro: No. It normally takes anywhere from one year to five or ten years to fully learn and master Shikai.

Raijin: So, I'm a bit of a prodigy or something? *snickers slightly, not really believing this*

Toshiro: That's right. It took me about the same time to learn my Shikai, and Kogase, however our Bankais both took much longer to learn and master. I learned my Bankai in about five or six years and Kogase it was about seven. But, it took me about ten years to fully master my Bankai, plus I was young when I learnt it, so i also had let my Bankai mature, which took around fifty years. Kogase mastered his Bankai after ten years, but he was somewhat older than I was when he did, so he didn't have to mature.

Raijin: Okay.

Kanna: Well its this simple. Shell blames Aion for the fall of our people. And its not too far-fetched after Aion ascended to power the treaties between us and the soul society died with our father. Which was of course because Aion her killed him for power.

Roses face contorts in anger.

Rose: Don't you dare slander his name.

Kanna: You can't fight the facts the truth is Aion killed off our clan out of pure greed.

Mira: Rose DON'T!!!!!

In a split second Rose materializes her rapier and thrusts it in Kanna's direction. Which Kanna quickly sidesteps out of the way of.

Rose: Shut up I'm tired of your hatefullness!!!!

Kanna: And who are you supposed to be the nice witch? Stop trying to act like everything is fine and dandy and accept the truth.

Rose shoots a light wave at Kanna, which is instantly countered by the target overpowering Rose and knocking her back few feet.

Kanna: So you challenge me then. Fine it seems appropriate for a match of queens. Just remember I actually have blood of the royal family flowing through my veins.

Rose lunges at Kanna with a blinding speed but stabs nothing but air as Kanna dissapears in a black light with a laugh. A foot materializes out of nowhere kicking Rose through the wall seperating inside from out. Kanna stands in front of Rose with a grin on her face.

Kanna: Is this princess finished.

Rose quickly flips backward ending up in a battle ready pose. Rose then shoots a light out the end of her rapier that materializes into a unicorn. Kanna simply holds her hand outenveloping the horse in a black mist that instantly gains physical capabilities and crushes the the beast.

Kanna: You may be married to my brother but the title of queen is wasted on you. You are inferior in every way.

Rose looses three more unicorns, and Kanna in turn destrys them with the same black mist this time sicking it on Rose herself. The mist appears to crush Rose as well as coat her in a thin layer of ice.

Kanna: Your useless.

Kanna fires a black beam at Rose. The beam is deflected by an injured but angry looking Aion. Kanna upon seeing her brothers arrival simply shrugs.

Kanna: She piicked the fight don't blame me. Control you queen.

So yah there is lots of in fighting amongst the scola, due to the fact that there are two sides. Those that support Aions ascension to power and those that see it as a mistake.

Besides Shell and Kanna, who else believes that Aion was responsible for the fall of his people?

-Two Days After Captains Meeting, Bankai Training-

Raijin faces Renji tentatively, he being one of the few people to actually achieve Bankai in a short period of time, through his own iron-clad determination.

Raijin: So how do we do it? *Always direct, and never one to wait*

Renji: Right. Stab this dummy and your Zanpakuto's spirit will manifest itself in this training arena.

Raijin: Okay. *Stabs dummy straight away*

A large explosion of grey reiatsu and blue lightning energy resulted from the former dummy. After a moment, the smoke clears and a creature wearing a mask, which was blue and white, with several white stripes extending down the blue side of the mask and curving teeth forming upon the bottom.

Renji stood back in horror, this thing was so powerful, its reiatsu was a little stronger than his own and he was a Captain. The thing was obviously much stronger than Raijin, but, to his credit, the other stood there, not even caring about the creature's reiatsu.

Raijin: Huh, I'll defeat you and then learn my Bankai.

Ajisukita: Well, if you can do this task and survive my attacks, maybe you'll stand a chance, but lets not get too carried away. You won't find it that easy, I'm afraid.

Raijin: Shut up and fight me!

Ajisukita: Have it your way, but you have to find the correct mask while you fight me, otherwise you'll never defeat me.

Ajisukita flicks his fingers and a giant explosion of grey/blue smoke is conjured up at once. When it clears, the whole training grounds are covered with masks. Each one has its own unique design of blue/grey/white and black.

Ajisukita: Find the right one.

Raijin sneers: I see. *Jumps back, then shunpos to a mask and grabs it*

Ajisukita: Try it on!

Raijin: Fine. *Places the mask on his face. The mask melts onto his face with a resulting flash of grey.

Ajisukita attacks.

Bankai: Inabi Kariabarema ('Raging lightning storm')

Raijin can still use Hiraishin.

Bankai abilities:

This is a further extension on the Shikai, however, like Hyorinmaru, this release affects the weather, giving the wielder the power to manipulate wind/lightning.

1st ability: Ajisukita: Inazuma Kago (Thunder God's Power: Lightning Cage) this one is pretty obvious, forms a cage from lightning energy around the opponent.

2nd ability: Ajisukita: Inazuma Shasai (Ajisukita: Lightning Bonds) forms a rope like energy bond around opponent, similar to Sajo Sabaku.

3rd ability: Inazuma, Hanashima joshi kosen (disconnecting lightning particle ray) this creates a huge explosion of lightning energy and the user's reiatsu, can also cause disconnection issues between Zanpakuto and wielder (Shinigami and Arrancar)

Well Kanna wants the crown period because of her constant thirst for power. Ciel has the same ambition. And Kanna simply blames Aion for the fall of the clan and the deaths of her family.

Alright, so here's my post. Do note that this post takes place after the training session that Raijin is going through.

Within the depths of the 12th Squad laboratory, Demandred waited uneasily. He supposed he should have felt impatient, Hideaki had often claimed that he had become as adept as any arrancar at creating these tears in space called the garganta. It had been hours since he started working with his research assistants to do just that, after days of waiting, though those hours had been spent inhaling toxic fumes, watching strange glows eddying from all manner of glassware and tanks, and feeling the occasional rumble that had no perceivable cause. With all of the perilously perched equipment in here, it was a wonder that each of those didn’t cause a catastrophe. Hence, his impatience had more to do with leaving this place than pursuing their mission.

He glanced around the room at his allies, trying to ascertain their various emotional states. Most of them just seemed determined, though a few shuffled about, most likely feeling the same nervousness he felt. Raijin was the only one who didn’t seem uncomfortable, but both seemed lost in their own thoughts of the fights ahead. Demandred narrowed his eyes at that – a focus on the mission was one thing, but a focus on pursuing a new challenge or proving oneself might get him killed.

A crash nearby brought a sudden dread. He turned sharply at the sound, noticing a stooped soul reaper rising from the ground, broken (though thankfully clean) glass scattered around him. Demandred recognized the young man as Ogodei, the new vice captain of the squad. He had known the former vice captain as well, though there was some question as to his current... well, there was some uncertainty as to whether his whereabouts were in question, or his status. He’d disappeared, that much was certain, and this new one was a drunken klutz. He wobbled as he knelt down to pick up the pieces of whatever he was carrying, and Demandred felt a little more nervous.

Shouts came from the pillar to their right, and Demandred turned his attention away again. Hideaki was yelling at another hapless lout, though whatever he had done wrong was beyond their understanding. The other pillar had apparently been brought into working order, and was surging with some mysterious energy. The one they were working on seemed to have been patched with little more than pieces of gum and flimsy tape. It concerned him to know that this structure might collapse at any minute, even while they’re passing through.

Hideaki: Can’t you do anything right? If you can’t arrange the coils correctly, get out of my sight!

The research assistants around him scattered, small smiles evident on their faces at being offered an opportunity to leave. Normally, Demandred might have been disgusted with their lack of devotion to duty. He understood it now.

Demandred: Is this thing even safe enough to travel through?

Hideaki frowned at him: Absolutely not. If it was, I would be making regular jaunts into Hueco Mundo to gather new samples. These things haven’t been tested in years. They were modified by Mayuri following his own excursion into Hueco Mundo, and finding the plans he left behind proved impossible. We’re doing this from scratch.

Demandred sighed: So this is the best you have to offer, some broken equipment that you don’t even know how to use?

Hideaki blinked at him: Oh, I know how to use it. Mayuri only understood the technology in its most basic form. The garganta is a wonder, and one that I plan on mastering. There must be a testing phase.

Demandred frowned. He didn’t like being a part of the “testing phase.” Most of his allies’ faces seemed to drop at that too. Renji started to sweat.

Renji: We don’t have time to wait on your prototyping! Just get us to Hueco Mundo!

Hideaki ignored him, which caused Renji to snarl at him, to no avail. He was already lost in thought as he tinkered with this and that. He eventually called over Ogodei, shouting some commands at him. The younger man looked the whole thing up and down, seemed to stand in thought for a moment, and kicked the base of the pillar. The whole thing sputtered to life, energy surging along its length as it came to life, mirroring the charge of the opposite pillar. Perhaps he wasn’t such a fool after all.

Hideaki: There, now you’ll have your transport. I’ll do what I can to bring you back, but I make no promises.

Renji: And will we get there in one piece?

Hideaki blinked at him: What part of “no promises” don’t you understand?

Renji shivered, but held his tongue. All of them were putting themselves at great risk in this mission, though they all hoped to at least arrive at their destination before they suffered grave injuries.

The black portal expanded in front of them, a wide crack in space that expanded in bars across a line. There was more than enough space for them all to walk abreast of each other with room to spare. Still, they hesitated a moment, watching the edges on the left side flicker slightly.

Hideaki let out an exasperated sigh: You know, the slower you move, the more likely it will collapse, and I cannot say I’ve safety-proofed this lab for such an event. An explosion of either of these pillars-

Demandred didn’t need to hear another word, and apparently, neither did anyone else. They were gone in an instant, traversing the black expanse of the garganta on paths of white energy, leaving behind one source of anxiety and rushing towards destiny.

Later on today (or sometime tomorrow, can't be sure) I should be posting an update to Sajin Komamura's blade. Also, a bit of background on Takuma, which I'm about halfway done with at the moment. I'll also be working on blade reviews in the Make Your Own Zanpakuto forum, so keep an eye out for that Gaia.

Kenshi: *looks to kanna* witch....

Val: Kenshi!

Kenshi: Its true!! She's always disrespecting lord aion!

Val: Know your place child!

Kanna:*glaring at kenshi she walks toward him the mist coming from her hands* You dare challenge me you soul reaper?

Kenshi: *glares but doesn't move*

Mil:*puts hand on Kanna's shoulder in an attempt to calm her down* Kanna calm down.

-The Mysterious Ajisukita, Difficult Training!-

Raijin feels an odd sensation as the mask melts onto his face; his reiatsu changes slightly, feeling wrong but, at the same time, it felt ominous, and dense.

Raijin notices a grey reiatsu begin to flare around him.

Raijin parries the attack Ajisukita swiped at him, then slid backwards slightly and pressed another attack.

Raijin: I will defeat you!

Ajisukita: Like I said, it won't be that simple. *Ajisukita's Zanpakuto forces his down, then it slices through his arm. As soon as Ajisukita's blade touches him, the mask disappears and feeling is gone.

Raijin: Huh?

Ajisukita: I told you. It won't be that simple.

Raijin: Shut up! *Shunpos to another mask, then puts it on. The same feeling occurs once again. Raijin attacks again, driving Ajisukita back a few steps.

Ajisukita parries the next attack and forces his blade down, once more. This time Raijin dodges and parries another heavy strike from his opponent.

The strike drives him back, sliding along the hardened dirt of the training arena. Raijin's reiatsu begins to fade and then the mask disappears once more.

Raijin: Dammit! *Shunpos and tries another mask on*

Ajisukita: Can you sense the right reiatsu yet? Or are you going to keep doing the same moves over and over again?

Raijin glares: Just fight me! Stop making this battle into a joke; this is serious!

Ajisukita: But, you aren't taking it seriously.

Raijin: No, you aren't taking it seriously. This is a fight, stop making it into some sort of joke.

Ajisukita sighs: You haven't learned anything. *A hard look comes onto his face. If that is the case, then I'll beat it out of you, until you start listening to me!

Raijin: I like the sound of that. Bring it on!

Ajisukita dives in for an attack once more. Raijin dodges and raises his Zanpakuto: Ajisukita, Haretsu!

Raijin slices at Ajisukita's blade and smashes into it, causing a semi-large explosion of grey and yellow. When the smoke clears away, Ajisukita is standing there, without even a scratch.

Raijin, gasping: What?!

Ajisukita doesn't even stop to say anything, completely finished with words. His blade smashes into Raijin's and slices his chest viciously.

Raijin buckles slightly: Urgghh! Damn you, bastard!

Ajisukita ignores him and presses another attack.

Kanna: Remember your place filth.

Kanna turns on her heel and dissapears into a thick black mist.

Aion: Mira go tend to rose please. And Mil prepare the gate for our departure.


Val punches Kenshi sending him spiraling away.

Val: Dammit! You fool are you trying to make all tht training go to waist!? You could've been killed!

Kenshi gets up and rubs his face.

Kenshi: What the hell was that for!? I could've handled myself.

Aion: Don't underestimate my sister. She is way out of your league especially in that form. You have no hopes for survival if you pick a fight with her.

Kenshi looks confused

Kenshi: I thought she was only a servant like me.

Val: It seems I've underestimated you in thinking you couldn't be any more of an idiot. You forget Kanna is royalty no matter her status at this moment. Ill tell you like this Shell, Aion, and Kanna are the three people you would most certainly die in a fight with. So don't try it!

Kenshi: Then train me, and make me stronger.

Val: I'm not gonna train you to pick a fight with one of the most deadly people on this planet.

Kenshi: Then I'll ask Aion to teach me.

The spot where Aion was just standing is empty.

Aion is laying dowwn on the roof of the Scola base soaking up sun rays to speed up his regeneration. Pondering how he can even try to run a clan that's at war with itself.

Aion's thoughts were interrupted by the arrival of Mil.

Appearance: Very average, no real distinguishing features. He has medium length brown hair, which is semi spiky, and brown ayes.

Mannerisms: Very much like Renji, Masabei can be very hot-headed and quick to anger. However, unlike Renji, Masabei is not reckless in battle and he also lacks the Squad Eleven one on one fighting rule.

Hado No.101 – Graveyard of Fallen Warriors ('Hakachi no Mushaaki')

Incantation: For the ones who have fallen, become the ones who are not, the ones that loved no longer have hearts. Fallen warriors reunite!

Description: The user raises his arms and the dead begin to rise. As long as the battleground has had deaths in any stage of existing, these fallen warriors will answer.

Hado No. 102 – Light Wave ('Nami')

Incantation: The light of dawn, precedes the light of twilight and all that bath in the glorious light of day begin to fall under its spell. Rise up and show your light!

Description: The user raises on his arms and a beam of light is fired out of it. It can do piercing damage, like Byakurai, but when it comes into contact with the opponent, it will explode five seconds later.

Whiteflame's. He said he was going to post it later on, along with some Hado and Bakudo from the other forum and the update to Sajin Komamura's blade. Plus, he said he might put up something about Squad Eleven Captain, Takuma.

Kyoraku: Hey Sajin, isn’t it about time we took a break?

Sajin looked ragged, his breathing labored. Kyoraku had always been a difficult opponent to say the least, but most of their training sessions had not included the elder captain’s shikai. The ways he could utilize his shikai seemed endless, it was a wonder that even Sajin’s bankai was enough to tire him. Kyoraku seemed to be in better shape, but a few cuts and sweat marred that normally spotless veneer of his.

Sajin: We can’t take a break every time you want more sake.

Kyoraku: Heeeey, it’s not about that this time. It’s just that we have been facing off down here for days. I think we could both use a rest.

Sajin growled at the suggestion, though it was simple enough to see the logic of it. Their training room, extensive as it was, was a ruin. Huge chunks had been removed from solid rock, and the earth split in numerous places. Whatever suggestion there may have been of plant life in the area had long since been destroyed.

Sajin: I don’t have time to wait.

Kyoraku smiled: Much as you say that, your mission will require you to be at the peak of health, and you’ve had your bankai active for quite a while. That would wear on anyone.

Sajin had to admit the truth in what he said, if begrudgingly. He didn’t have much strength left in him, and the mission was going off tomorrow. Still, he wasn’t anything if not stubborn.

Sajin: One more spar then.

Kyoraku sighed: If you insist. Bushōgoma.

He swung both blades around himself, releasing a tornado-like strike that struck out at Sajin. He instantly reactivated his bankai around him, electrical current surging from his body to the levitating pads of his giant ally that surrounded him. He activated an arm, swinging down with it and scattering the energy of the attack to the winds around him. Kyoraku vanished in that instant, traversing the shadow that now stretched between them, only to be stopped at Sajin dematerialized the arm, rising out from the blackness. Sajin had to take his opportunity.

Sajin: Hado #32: Ōkasen!

Yellow light flashed out of his hands in a wide arc, but was easily dodged by his opponent who leapt up over it. Sajin gritted his teeth in determination, raising his hands to follow it up.

Sajin: Hado #63: Raikōhō!

Yellow lightning blazed towards him in a massive wave. The elder captain brushed it aside with a sweep of his arm.

Kyoraku: Oh come now, is the best you-

Only then did he notice the massive arms of the giant around Sajin had taken form and were casting a repeat of the spell. Yellow lightning flashed again, this time in a wave 10 times as big, engulfing Kyoraku. When the lightning vanished, however, he stood unharmed.

Kyoraku: Irooni. Yellow. That was impressive; I haven’t had to use that ability for defense in quite a while.

Sajin could only grind his teeth. All of the kido spells he was capable of using would be of a single color, making them easy bait for an ability that made cuts so much more effective. He hadn’t known that a kido spell could be effected as easily as tissue.

Kyoraku: Now is the time to stop. You can barely stand.

Much as it pained him to acknowledge it, Kyoraku was right. He could hardly keep his bankai active, let alone fight with it. He sealed his sword, the ethereal giant around him vanishing in a haze. Kyoraku did the same, sheathing his and stepping up to Sajin, putting an arm around his shoulder.

Kyoraku: You are stronger, and you’ll be able to prove that to yourself in Hueco Mundo. Just don’t do anything foolish.

Sajin didn’t respond, but he would respect Kyoraku’s wishes. He knew all too well of the pain that could be brought on by weakness and failure, and he didn’t intend to get stuck in that again. Nonetheless, he would be careful.

With that, I bring you the blade update for Sajin Komamura. I'll be getting to posting new kido spells later tonight, as well as (hopefully) finishing the intro bit for Takuma.

Bankai: Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō

Shikai Abilities:

Special Ability: creates various phantom body parts of a fearsome armored giant to copy whatever body part Komamura moves; for example, should Komamura swing his sword, a gigantic disembodied arm wielding a sword appears and does the same thing. The body's gigantic parts generated by the Initial Release possess strength and attacking power proportionate to their size

Bankai Abilities:

Special Ability: His Bankai brings forth the entire giant, which is about a hundred meters tall. It wields a sword with a guard similar to Komamura's, but with a different blade and with a string hanging from the hilt. The giant takes the form of an armored samurai that copies the movements of Komamura to devastating effect, allowing it to deal out colossal amounts of damage. Its strength is far proportionally greater than that of Komamura due to its size.

Batsu no Kami (Diety of Punishment): This ability alters the structure of the giant, essentially combining it with the wielder. When this is activated, only the pads on the knees, shoulders, elbows, chest and back remain entirely physical, and are attached to the wielder from the various points on which those pieces would exist, should they be on the wielder directly. While it’s ethereal like this, the pads act as automatic defense against attacks that hit those portions of Sajin body, taking it as though he had the strength and size of the giant. While it is active in this phase, the giant can be materialized as much or as little as the wielder desires. The more that is materialized, the more strength it has, though any piece of him that is connected to one of these bits of armor disconnects that piece of defense. When the full giant is materialized, the strength of the giant improves two-fold over what it would be separately from him. However, any damage inflicted to the giant is doubled on Sajin. The giant moves along with Sajin at all times in this form, and whether it’s ethereal or not, its weight is applied to him, increasing his ability to hold his ground against attacks immensely.

Houfuko no Te (Hand of Retribution): This requires the materialization of both arms of the giant if in the second form. When this occurs, any kido spell the wielder casts is also cast by the giant. Whatever it casts is increased in size by the same amount as the difference between the wielder’s size and the giant’s. In both forms, the size of the kido spell is the only thing that increases. The power of the kido spell is generally the same, just of a larger size. For all spells, this increases the weight of the energy when it is cast (for bakudo), and the likelihood of a hit (hado).

Taitan no Sutoraido (Titan Stride): While the giant is attached to the wielder but not materialized, the wielder can rise up off of the ground to a point behind his chest armor. When he does this, he has the capability to move over any distance at the same rate as the giant. While this doesn’t materialize anything, the steps he takes leave depressions where the giant would have walked. After even a small piece of the giant is materialized, this effect ends.
