Arc One: Aizen: The Beginning of the End

The beginning of this RP accounts for Aizen's disappearance from the Maggot's Nest and back to Hueco Mundo. Sosuke Aizen is planning to take over the Soul Society once more, by creating another Arrancar army. In reality, his goal is to steal the Ouken and use it to achieve passage into the Soul-King's dimension. Once again, the Soul Society are destined to try and stop him, lead by Captain-Commander Hitsugaya and the other 12 Captains. The appearance of a strange man, who saved a Seated officer, was to be their salvation... He was powerful, enough so to kill an Arrancar and then, later, an Espada. But, they learned that the name of his Zanpakuto was akin to that of a God.

Arc Two: Soul Society: The God's Realm.

The second is about the pseudo-shinigami, women and men with powers similar to Raijin's, where they each possess the capability of using these 'God-like' powers. Unfortunately, their existence has attracted the attention of a group of 'Radical' Gods, that believe existence of the pseudo-shinigami is unwarranted and wish to cleanse the Universe of them. The Radicals are lead by Ajisukitakahikone, Raijin's God, and the reason for his Zanpakutou's existence; Ajisukitakahikone had spent so much of his life feeling unloved by his father and brother, that he and Takemikazuchi, his other brother, decided to form a group of Gods to rebel against the other Gods.

Arc Three: Aizen: Revenge.

Aizen is planning to destroy the Soul-King's dimension and eradicate the Soul Society from existence. Only Raijin Masamune, with the help of the Gotei 13, can stop this from happening. All of their efforts are now focused on apprehending and executing Sosuke Aizen for good. With the help of each of the divisions among the Gotei 13, everyone is now underway to learn more about Aizen's activities and find information taht will conclude what his plan to enter the Soul Society is.

Filler Arc: The Kasumioji clan are being manipulated from within by a man with a powerful intellect and a major hatred of the Shinigami from the Seireitei. While this is going on, the other noble houses are protecting the existence of the Diadem, a powerful artifact, that could possess the secret of Kido and knowledge of Futo Minoriko, the first person to develop Kido. Together these two occurences will shape a new destiny for the Soul Society.

[Just to make a note, but the Third Arc will be Aizen's dramatic return... It will be called Aizen: Revenge Arc. Should be interesting. XD]

Rules

1. In a battle, there are to be no cheap shots that result in a one-hit kill.

2. No ridiculous over-powering of characters and abilities, otherwise there is no point in having a fair RP.

3. Play fair.

4. If you want to be a Visored, then you really have to spin me an exceptionally good story of how it occured and it really has to believable, otherwise I'll tell you to get naffed.

5. If you want to leave the RP for good, or you anticipate being away for a few days, try and work it into the story.

6. Follow my rules, otherwise I'll ask you to leave.

7. No trolls! I hate people who go on forums just make a nuisance of themselves. If you do that on here, I'll get rather annoyed and ask you UNKINDLY to leave.

8. If someone is going to be away for more than two days and cannot post, then we skip their turn and they get to post on their next turn. This is to make sure the forum doesn't get held up too much. We still have a fair bit of stuff to cover and I'd appreciate some good stuff coming in consistently XD. But, seriously, this will help keep the forum up and running. Cheers everyone :)

Just list Aion's abilities. You should be making him pretty powerful too, since he is the commander or lord of the Scola, so he should be pretty powerful. Shinjuku is a character that I made ages ago for my actual story. He is powerful, but he lacks in other areas, like speed, and strength of Cero. Also, he isn't very intelligent, so therefore has little understanding of battle tactics and opponent's strengths.

Rose Miamoto:

Ferrum: Unicorn horn

Rose wields a rapier with an ivory guard. The blade is said to be fahioned from a unicorns horn howeve if this I true is unknown.

Rose can fashion 8 foot unicorns from the tip of her blade. These unicorns can move at a speed of 100 mph. When the unicorns collide with somthing that possesses reiatsu they immediately explode. Up to 3 horses can be summoed at a time and they dissipate after they have moved half a mile. The unicorns can also be ridden on by those who Rose allows otherwise the unicorns explode as normal.

This is true I guess I can divulge nova now lol.

Nova: The equivalent of an espadas ressureccion in the fact that the users change their forms to a small extent.

Rose: The reiatsu of this usr glows a deep red. Roses legs become that of a brilliant silver maned horse(only two legs) after her change is complete rose can move at a speed rivaling that of yoruichis. Also Rose can summon twice the number of unicorns than in her previous form.

Kanna: Kannas reiatsu turns jet black. Kanna grows six black wings and sports two curving black horns. By making contact with an opponent Kanna can leach the life from her opponents. She can also teleport through space by ripping a hole in time and space.

Mira: Mira's reiatsu glows golden. Mira bocomes clad in a thick armor and sports a 40 foot spear. Mira can cause seismic waves just by taking a step. Her strength is increased tenfold though her speed is reduced to 1/4 of what it was originally.

Anyone I don't have posred I haven't really decided on yet but you can get the gist of the ability from this. This is not thorough at all but I need suggestions from youguys.

This sounds pretty interesting, I'm glad you decided on something like that, otherwise it would seem kinda unfair to have Espada and Arrancars with Resurreccion and Shinigami with Bankai, plus Raijin with his special ability to communicate directly with his Zanpakuto and become stronger as a result.
I'll divulge Raijin's ability now. You probably won't like this that much, given that you found Shinjuku Dragoneye tough, but remember that this ability is saved for when Raijin fights Aizen. Pretty much, Raijin communicates with Ajisukita whenever he is in danger and as a response, Ajisukita is eithger willing to let Raijin use his reiatsu too, or he will eventually give Raijin the information about the background behind his Zanpakuto and why it is named after the God fo Thunder. When he learns this information, Ajisukita probably fight him and when Raijin figures out how to get through this task, he learn how to utilise some of the Thunder God's power. This is released in the form of a mask, which is the same as Ajisukitakahikone (The God of Thunder). The mask is blue/white and long, curving teeth at the bottom, over his mouth. When Raijin fights Aizen he can fully transform into the Thunder God for a short time (however it uses an enormous amount of spirit energy to control this form, especially in Bankai)

Val:reiatsu glows crimson, his revolvers are now gone, instead he has a Gatling which fires 50 shots a second. Each shot is the equivalent of a cero. It is heavy so it decreases his speed by 25%. He now is wearing a helmet that has scopes at the eyes which allows him to find the enemy more easily, the scopes show their reiatsu signatures.He also has bullet chains wrapped around parts of his body.

May:reiatsu flares bright neon pink, she is clad in pink bunny themed armor and her mallet is twice it's size, it only weighs 1 pound meaning it is in healing mode, if shesays "pow pow time!" it gains the force as I it were 2 tons in weight, when she says "shrinky dink" it revert back to healing mode.

Shell: (to be announced)

mil: reiatsu flares dark purple, his weapon becomes a 7ft long staff with blades at both ends. His reiatsu forms a black overcoat that flows with the wind, his capabilities to create knights from his teiatsu is doubled. His hands are now tiger claws and he ha a golden tiger tail.

Well, I needed a secret weapon. I've told you about the power, but you don't know just how much power yet. Lol. Anyway, yeah I guess your right, Aion probably should be strong. I don't necessarily think Aion and Raijin should fight each other though. I think that the battle should be Toshiro/Aion once more and as their final battle. Though, it'll probably just work out as it goes, i'd say.

Kenshi's nova: (can't be obtained until he conquers zanpakuto spirits) can only be used during dawn or twilight, his reiatsu will erupt a bright gray, at twilight he will be clad in black armow with black metal wings, getsumen no karasu is now a black sword, he has all his bankai abilities but instead of insanity he is in a calm mood, he can now use one hand to absorb the black mist and the other to absorb energy from the setting sun to combine both energy into a devestating spiraling black and white raven blast

dawn nova: Kenshi is wearing a white robe with a grey belt loosely worn around waist, his wings are prism crystals and he has a halo over his head made of glowing reiatsu, Hitaka is now a bow and arrow, the bow is pure spirit energy the arrows prisms, by shooting the arrows at the enemies sides he can use solar explosion, by shooting them in a complete circle he can cause all the arrows to grow dramatically fast around the enemy in the form of a dome, he then shoots a final arrow made entirely of reiatsu at the dome causing the same result as solar explosion but instead whatever is in the dome is disentigrated in the explosion in a giant rainbow flash.

Oh yea I read it. But itkinda seemed small for a bankai. You freaking quadrupled her speed and lighly raised a few other stats but I pictured hainekos bankai being something morre destructive. I'M BY NO MEANS BEING A CRITIC!!!!!!!!! I'm just saying that you should abit more offense. Please don take this the wrong way lol.

Frost, just wondering, but if Kenshi has Nova, can he still release his Zanpakuto? If he could, that could be slightly troublesome, because I have no idea how that would work. Just waiting for FB to respond (it never seems to work properly, which is why I hate Facebook). Gaia, I was thinking of that, but that could make her a little too powerful, if you get what I mean. I think Matsumoto needs speed in order for her attack style to work. I think her abilities would okay, just because her Bankai, works slightly different to Shikai. In Shikai, the opponent can leave the ash cloud, but in Bankai, the opponent is trapped inside the mist, like when Tosen used his Bankai on Kenpachi, but with different abilities. I think her attack would still be destructive with increased reiatsu and strength. But if you have any ideas, feel free to share, because I had a fair bit of difficulty on this one (I really wasn't sure how I was going to do it).

Well I do see were your coming from Rangiku's bankai does seem to be troublesome and the cage is a good idea but the thing is if someone like Aion were to break out all sh oul fall back on is unning awy perhaps an ability to give her defensive capabilities that would at the same serve as a counterattack measure. Rangiku needs a more direct defense or it could end up like her shikai useless against higher level enemies.

Renji rushed after them, aiming to follow them through the garganta, until a large arm stopped his forward movement. Sajin stood to his right.

Sajin: Don’t be a fool. Following them would be a death sentence.

Renji: And you’ll just let them leave!? They want to destroy us, I won’t let Aizen-

Kyoraku: Let’s not be hasty, Renji. You remember as well as anyone how dangerous that man was before – we cannot allow ourselves to get drawn into a pitched battle now.

Renji looked like he was ready to argue, but he was interrupted again.

Sonoyuushi: He’s right. They aren’t even our only opponents. We need to regroup, and learn more about these “Scola.” We’ve had a chance to observe them, it’s time to put that knowledge to work.

He followed his words by opening the Senkaimon in front of them. Sonoyuushi and Kyoraku immediately moved inside, Sajin waiting behind to ensure that Renji followed. Renji took a moment, looking over the Scola, who appeared confused by the sudden departure of their foes. He tsked as he stepped through, Sajin following suit.

No kenshi can't activate his sword's shikai or bankai during dawn or twilight, only his nova. Otherwise he just has his sealed sword. If it goes from dawn to day his nova will disappear and turn to his bankai, same with twilight to night

9th Squad Vice Captain.

Name: Acelin
Height: 5’5”
Age: 30
Hair Color: Blond
Eye Color: Blue

Appearance: He has thick chest, abdomen and leg muscles, but is much weaker in the arms. His walk and posture are very composed, and he's almost never seen in a compromising or dull-witted position. His shikai is normally activated, so a cloak normally covers most of him, shading the upper portion of his face. He wears a double breasted navy coat with golden buttons over red, cotton vest and a ruffled white shirt under that. A pair of purple leather gloves on his hands represented the only piece of clothing meant to mainly to protect. A pair of navy blue pants and black loafers that gleam from polish finishes the ensemble, all of his clothing is always starched and pressed, without a wrinkle or stain.

Personality: He portrays a high-society air, always careful to speak in a way that supports that image. He avoids fights, viewing them as droll and pointless. He looks down on most everyone, rarely liking to take orders. However, during battle, his demeanor changes. He wants to end fights quickly, busting out tremendously destructive powers without thought for the landscape. He lacks a tactical mindset, and often fires blindly at his opponents. He has always seen increased power as a way to end fights more simply, more cleanly. He has chafed under the leadership of his squad chafed under its staunch leadership, despising its captain and the lack of any perceptual rank he's received. He expected to become the captain in short order, despite his lack of bankai.

Shikai Name: Shōgeki (Bombardment)

Release Command: Devenir ma cheville ouvrière… (Become my linchpin…) [that's French]

Bankai Name: Taema nai hōgeki (Ceaseless Bombardment)

Shikai Appearance: No scabbard or blade exists that anyone has seen. When the release is called out, the wielder’s cloak turns to titanium metal, though it continues to act as cloth (in other words, it’s not rigid like metal, but just as solid). The underside of the cape is covered with cannon and gun barrels, varied in length between 0 inches and 6 inches. Their width is also widely varied between 1 and 10 inches. Due to the heat created from its use, the guns must be facing normally (as in, he can’t just turn it inside out, the heat would be too much). Too many uses of it will cause it to overheat as well.

Shiaki Abilities:
1. Massed Military Batteries – The wielder pushes their cloak out behind them to reveal all of the underside of the cloak. Any hado used #40 and under will spawn anywhere between 5 and 25 forms of the same kido spell all at the cost of the single cast kido spell. The more the wielder uses, the more the cloak heats up as a result. These must all launch in the same direction, which is decided after the energy has completely formed. There is a 30 second cooldown on this ability.

2. Counter-battery Fire – The cloak will automatically respond to any kido based attack by launching one of the same power level at it. Attacks launched in this way look like cannonballs, and explode with a tremendous area, allowing it to block widely ranged attacks. The energy will be taken in an equal amount from the wielder. This only works if the inside of the cloak is facing the opponent.

3. Single Shot – There are 2 much larger than usual cannons under each of his arms on the cloak. These can be used to create kido missiles. Kido missiles are based directly on the energy put into them, and can therefore utilize any kind of kido spell (hence electricity kido will make it an electric missile, blue energy will make it blue, etc.). These missiles move at half the rate of the kido spell used to create them. They explode with double the force of the original kido spell. 2 of these can be used at once. Only kido of level 70 or lower can be used in this way. The cost is the same as the normal kido spell.

Name: Ogodei
Height: 5’11”
Age: 22
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Black

Appearance: He has a medium build with thick leg and arm muscles. He walks and often acts as if he's drunk, even when he isn't. A heavy blue, fur-lined coat covers him from shoulders to his knees, and is fastened at the waist by a leather belt, which holds his blade. The coat doubles over, left breast over right, and is secured with a button a few inches below the right armpit. Underneath the coat, he wears a heavy white silk shirt interwoven with metallic thread with long, wide sleeves, which is almost as strong as armor. He wears plain brown trousers tucked into heelless, fur-lined boots of felt and leather.

Personality: Callous and crude, he rarely puts together a reasonable sentence outside of battle. He's often seen drinking and cavorting around Soul Society, challenging others to fights. His eyes, however, say otherwise. Always alert, always keen, he sleeps with them open. During battle, his decisions become much keener. He has amazing battle sense, able to create amazing strategies quickly, though his willingness to sacrifice power for tactical supremacy often leaves him lacking against stronger opponents. Despite his obvious attempts to look dim-witted, his captain has seen through it, and has put him in charge of research, though that is in name only.

Shikai Name: Kiritsu (Discipline)

Release Command: Morindoo… (Mount up… ) [that's Mongolian, in case anyone's wondering]

Bankai Name: Subutai no kiritsu (Discipline of Subutai)

Shikai Appearance: A plain zanpakuto in its unreleased state, its release modifies it into the shape of a dao with a 3 inch thick blade at the base. The blade thickens as it extends out from the handle to about 4 inches, curving as it does. All three edges are sleek, and a couple of inches above the handle the symbol of a wave is engraved in the blade. The blade is about 2 feet long. The handle is brown and about 8 inches long, about 2/3 as thick as the blade. At the base of the handle, a sheet of metal extends out for an inch, and then bends around to one side of the handle, creating a small, 2 inch wide 1 inch thick sheet of metal to guard the wielder’s hand.

Shiaki Abilities:
1. Enduring Siege – When arrows coming from his blow are blocked, parried, blown away or otherwise negated, the ability or object that did so can no longer function in doing what it did. Hence, when a kido blast is used to stop it, the arrow will afterwards simply pass through the same kido blast. When a kido barrier is erected and stops an arrow, future arrows will pass through. This is the same for when armor blocks an arrow, and when a blade parries an arrow. This does not apply to anything directly knocked aside or otherwise blocked by the skin directly (if it did, the arrows couldn’t pierce them).

2. Legacy of a Conqueror – This ability effectively allows the wielder to “conquer” a certain area. What that means is that every swing of their blade creates an invisible and undetectable image (even to the wielder) of itself. These images can be accrued to any extent (so basically, he can create an infinite number), but stacking them does not add to their strength. The wielder can unleash these at any point, after which they disappear. When they are unleashed, each slash will repeat the sword strike that was conducted at that point. Damage can be blocked in the same manner as a sword strike.

3. Enduring Soldier – The sword activates an instinctive fighting style. His speed increases dramatically when cut, though only for the instant after being cut or struck. This allows him to dodge or parry attacks that would have killed him if he was moving at normal speed, though only as a result of damage.

Heh, you might just get the chance, had a lot of fun making these two blades, and especially the latter. Mongolian history is one of my favorite subjects, so I based it off of that to some extent.

Name: Kirodzuki Namase

Rank: Vice-Captain, Eleventh Squad.

Appearance: Scruffy, brown hair and facial hair, with green eyes.

Weight: 95 kgs

Height:5'11

Mannerisms: Very crude, his humour is different and his idea of being polite is passing the sake after being asked a thousand times. He is an odd sort in general. His idea of battle involves fighting one on one even if his opponent is stronger than him. He also hates Kido and Bakudo and will refuse to use either. Another quirk of his is to shun anyone from another Squad, especially if they wield a Kido-type Zanpakuto.

Zanpakuto: Gunryuhanma ('War hammer')

Release command: Maul (Can't find a Japanese translation for this)

Shikai abilities:

Otakebi ('War cry') The Zanpakuto lets out a vibratory sound (like a reverberation), which pierces the opponent's reiatsu and weakens their strength. When it strikes the opponent's reiatsu, it puts a small crack in the reiatsu, so when the opponent tries to consciously raise their reiatsu, it instead flows out of the crack, wasting their momentary raise in power. This only flows out of the reiatsu if they raise their reiatsu.

Wanryoku Shouyo ('Strength bonus') This passively increases the wielder's strength and reiatsu. Reiatsu by two times and strength by five times.

Toshiro: Everyone, we need to get back to Seireitei. *Follows Sajin, Renji and Kogase through the Senkaimon, while motioning for the other Captains to follow him.

Kyoraku: I'll go get Raijin. He looked like he took quite a bit of damage in his fight.

Toshiro: Right. *Kyoraku shunpos over to Raijin and slings him over his back*

Then Shunsui follows the Captain-Commander.

Momo: Wait for me, Shunsui! *Kyoraku halts*

Kyoraku: Yeah, I'll wait. Have all of the Vice-Captains gone through?

Momo: I think so. Vasare and Masabei were the only ones here during the fight and they left just after Toshiro.

Kyoraku: That's Captain-Commander Hitsugaya to you! *Then laughs*

Momo: I forgot *then joins in the laughing*

Both Captains head through the Senkaimon, which then closes behind them. Finally they are back in Seireitei.

Meanwhile, in Squad Four barracks.

Toshiro: Hanataro, I need to you heal Raijin again. He was injured pretty badly I think.

Hanataro: Right. Yes, sir!

Toshiro: I'll be back in my office if Captain Kotetsu needs me. Tell her, when she's finished healing Vasare's injuries, that I will be calling another Captains Meeting later.

Hanataro: Yes, sir.

Meanwhile, Kogase, Sajin, Renji and Momo were collaborating in Squad Six barracks about the Schola.

Momo: I wonder where they actually came from. They just appeared out of nowhere.

Renji: Yeah. What I wonder is who they were.

Kogase: They were ancient users of light, at least, that's what i think they were. I have done a lot of reading in my time and I once came across an old tome, which spoke of ancient beings who could manipulate light. It also said that Soul Society feared they would destroy everything, so the Captain-Commander at that time, along with the Captains, sealed them away.

Renji: Your pretty smart. You must read a lot!

Kogase: I enjoy reading. You learn new things that way.

Renji: As I recall, you graduated from Shino Academy in two years, that pretty much makes you a genius.

At that moment, Matsumoto joins them.

Matsumoto: So where's the sake?

Momo: You always ask that first. We were discussing those guys from earlier.

Matsumoto: Don't care, I want my sake. *folds arms over her sizeable breasts*

Renji: Shut up and drink it then *pours her a glass of sake*

Matsumoto: Oh, thanks Renji. *smiles flirtatiously*

Renji goes bright red.

Momo: Stop teasing Renji, he'll explode in a minute.

Sajin: Can we be serious for a moment. They were a real threat, so we need to focus and figure this out. We have no time for foolishness.

Kogase: I agree. I say we go visit the Captain-Commander and have a discussion with him.

Sajin: Agreed, let's go.

Matsumoto: Hold on. Maybe we should give him some time. He's probably brooding over at the moment. He always used to do that when we were both in Squad Ten.

Momo: I think Rangiku is right. Shiro always like to brood about these things. Let's just give him some time.

Sajin: Fine! *he literally growls*

Toshiro's Voice: Everyone, I want to have a Captains Meeting. All Captains and their Vice-Captains to my office as soon as possible.

So, finally, here's that post about my 13th squad captain. This will give necessary personality information as well as what he looks like. It's a bit lengthy, but he's a complex one.

Name: Demandred Takumi
Gender: Male
Age: Appears to be in his mid-40’s
Height: 6’6”
Eyes: Dark grey, almost silver
Hair: Black

Appearance: His skin is a light color with only the barest hint of tanning. His hair shows no signs of balding, though it is brushed back and flattened against his head, making it often seem unreal. He’s extremely broad of shoulder with thick, muscular arms. He has a distinctive scar about his neck – a blue-purple bruise that’s the result of a long-past strangling. He wears no hint of jewelry on his body. His clothing consists of a loose black cloak tailored after the shinigami uniform and long enough that it brushes the ground when he walks, its only adornment a heavy golden trim fashioned in the shape of a long dragon climbing up the edges and appearing with open mouths at his neck. Underneath that, he wears an entirely light grey military-like uniform, 5 silver buttons on the right side of his high collar, trimmed with black velvet at the waist, neck and down the front. He wears his captain’s cloak as a scarf with the symbol of his squad visible at his throat, twin tails of it tending to billow behind him in fights. He carries a large bag of coins at his waist underneath the coat.

There was a strange beauty to the color that blossomed when he closed his eyes, a gentle caress that each hue provided before it coalesced into an image. Colors darted this way and that behind lids of pitch black, and the man who watched them saw no immediate need to make order out of chaos. He had always been a man of order, of duty, of responsibility, but the colors knew none of that. Sometimes, he envied them.

Eventually, he allowed them to resolve into images, each evoking a strong emotional pull. There, a memory of a conversation with Genryuusai Yamamoto, seemingly so long ago. How often had he sought the man’s near infinite wisdom? There, a fleeting memory of a captain’s meeting long past. Frustration always accompanied those – others refused to act where he had seen necessity for so long. Perhaps they regretted it now, with Aizen back on Soul Society’s doorstep, and a litany of new opponents to fret about. There, a meeting between himself and Juushiro Ukitake. No matter his illness, the man was tremendously strong, though it had always irked him to see a man of his skill and influence put on such a kindly face. Leadership required a stern hand, and he had never been that kind of person.

It was only as a woman began to form that he banished them back to colors. She appeared to him all too often, a symbol of his own failures. He faced her every day, whether his eyes were open or closed.

Demandred Takumi opened his eyes. There was little he could do to sooth the roiling emotions that seemed to run through his veins these days. Much as he rarely showed any sign of emotion on the surface, he certainly felt them well enough. That was his disguise, his role to play. The immovable object.

He took a moment to glance around the small chamber he inhabited. With no windows, the tower chamber around him gave little hint of what time it was outside. The only light being cast was by a number of candles that littered the room on all sides, climbing the walls a few feet before disappearing into the dark upper recesses of the tower. This place gave him some peace, isolated from the world outside, from the duties that called to him constantly, and from his own doubts.

Thoughts of the past had an oddly calming effect on him, even of times as trying as those that came to him now. Sometimes, it seemed as though he were climbing an endless mountain, the summit always well out of sight, and the handholds and cliffs beneath him, no matter how treacherous, felt like old friends. The present was ever-changing, and the future so uncertain. That left only the past, and there was comfort to be found even in pain and frustration.

That had been a lesson he had learned the hard way. His own foolish aspirations about the future had torn his dreams asunder when she died. The scars on his neck were the only physical ones he bore, though the mental anguish ran far deeper.

Demandred sighed, pushing thoughts of the past away as he opened the door. It was the dead of night, and all was still in the Seireitei. It was probably the same day (it had been early morning when he had entered), though he had no easy way of telling – sometimes his meditations took much longer than he could know. The sprawling buildings and walls encircled him in all directions, and the barracks was silent as death. Amazing how all of this could change in an instant.

Demandred sat meditating in the main hall of his barracks when they arrived. He was surrounded by a group of loyal squad members who had taken to the practice, though all of them seemed restless, shuffling in their seats. He was perfectly calm, seemingly completely lost in his meditations.

Demandred: It’s polite to knock before entering.

He didn’t open his eyes. He rarely felt the need to return courtesies that weren’t given to him.

Hideaki sniffed: As if you were ever worth the courtesy.

Renee shot him a look, though it did little good. The man hardly cared what she thought of him, and his lack of tact was hardly something he thought to correct.

Renee: We received a message. There’s to be a captain’s meeting. We sent our vice captains ahead for their own gathering, but you’re needed as well.

Demandred: I received it as well. I’ll be there in my own time.

Takuma: We don’t doubt that. We came here so that we can discuss what’s been happening between ourselves along the way.

Demandred opened one eye at that, peering at the man who spoke. Takuma had always been an odd one. He was tremendously powerful, but that sightless gaze left most of those who spoke with him feeling unclean. Small wonder he covered his eyes with that cloth, though in some ways, it made him all the more eerie.

Demandred: Discuss? Seems rather pointless. The meeting itself is for discussion. Do you mean to discuss out of hearing of the other captains?

Takuma smiled. He always had an easy smile. Before he lost his sight and hearing, it would have easily been considered warm. Now, it just seemed incongruous.

Takuma: Not at all. We only mean to pledge our support for your plan.

Demandred’s eyes shot open at that, a surprised look crossing his face before he managed to flatten it again. He rarely lost his cool, but that was a shock. He immediately dismissed his underlings, rising as he surveyed the people before him, people who had disagreed with his plan at every turn. Renee thought it too rash and risky. Hideaki never agreed with anything. And Takuma… well, it had always been hard to be certain of where he stood.

Demandred: Why now?

Hideaki sneered derisively: Aizen has made it quite clear that he plans to do us more harm, and this time, I don’t plan on letting him get the drop on us. I refuse to get caught off guard.

Renee: It’s become the only logical option, and the best time to do it. With these other… “beings”… about, Aizen will have his attention distracted.

Takuma just smiled. It was hard to trust someone like him, though he had made it quite clear of his support. He would have to accept that, and hope that the other captains would agree.

Demandred: As you wish. Perhaps with your help, we can get the support we need. It’s never been more necessary.

They all nodded, and each vanished, leaving for the captains’ meeting. Did he dare hope that this might work? He had been disappointed so many times before. Still, he felt cautiously optimistic. Perhaps the future was worth seeing.

Background Story: Kogase Sonoyuushi

-450 Years Ago-

'Kogase Sonoyuushi, you have graduated from Shino Academy in two years. You may now join the 13 Court Guard Squads'

Kogase stared at the speaker. 'Thank you, sir. It is an honour.'

Kogase glanced at Captain Hitsugaya, who joined come to watch him graduate. The Captain looked calm and collected at a first glance, but Kogase could tell that the young Captain was being eaten up by turmoil inside. It had been about a week since Jushiro Ukitake had taken ill again, but this time it was much more serious. Captain Unohana of Squad Four had proclaimed that the Squad Thirteen Captain didn't have much longer to live.

Kogase left the graduation and wandered idly to Sokyoku hill. He could have simply ran there and saved a lot of time, but he didn't feel like hurrying.

The sky was an intense blue and the fluffy clouds dawdled by, shadowing the sun every now and again. It was a perfect day, but Kogase didn't really appreciate it, he was too busy thinking about Jushiro's illness.

A year ago, his instructor, Gogoya Hamashi had spoken to Jushiro Ukitake, Shunsui Kyoraku and Toshiro Hitsugaya, giving the young student an excellent report and requesting that they give him special training. Shunsui and Jushiro were two of the oldest Captains and Toshiro had a Zanpakuto similar to his own, Uindo Sonoshi Soryuushi. Toshiro was known to be more than competent with his elemental Zanpakuto, the strongest ice/snow type in all of the Soul Society and he had also graduated from Shino Academy in record time, a year quicker than himself.

Slowly, but surely, the sun eventually went down and a beautiful sunset rose, bathing the Soul Society in brilliant pink/orange light. Finally Kogase rose and headed back to the Academy. He was still living in the dorms there until he was accepted into a Squad. When he got back, he lay awake for a while, still thinking about Captain Ukitake.

Thd next day he rose and left his dorm room. He was supposed to present himself to Captain-Commander Yamamoto. He arrived at the Seireitei gate.
'Excuse me, but can you let me in? I have to present myself to the Captain-Commander. Today they'll be placing me in one of the squads.'
The gate guardian shrugged. 'I haven't heard anything about this. If you want to get in, you have to defeat me in battle.'

Kogase paled, the gate guardian was huge and wielded a huge Zanpakuto. 'Do I have to?'

'If you wnat to get in.' Came the nonchalant reply.

'Fine. Blow from all four corners, Uindo Sonoshi Soryuushi.' His Zanpakuto released an elemental energy. 'Kaze Kasairyuu.' A large river of lava rose from the ground, bubbling madly with murderous intent, then crashed into the giant, sending him sprawling back.

'You win. I'll let you pass.' Then the giant grabbed the bottom of the gate and, in a feat of gigantic proportions, lifted the heavy gate up.

'Thanks.'

Kogase walked through Seireitei, glancing at buildings and admiring the strange architecture.

'You there, Academy student. You must be on your way to see the Captain-Commander, right?' A young looking Shinigami peered at him with interest. He wore the badge of a Vice-Captain and the symbol looked to be that of Squad Six.

'Wow, you must be Vice-Captain Abarai of Squad Six. You're famous. I heard you were the first Vice-Captain in hundreds of years to learn your Bankai before becoming a Captain. But, yes, I am on my way to see Captain-Commander Yamamoto.'

Renji grinned. 'Flattery will get you everywhere, kid. I'll take you there. At your pace, you'll be late and the Captain-Commander is one person you wanna keep waiting.'

'Right.'

He followed Renji, until they came to the entrance of a frighteningly tall building. Squad One barracks.

They entered and walked up flights of stairs, for what seemed like an age, until they came to a long corridor. At the end was an older looking man, wearing a Vice-Captain's badge and a long, flowing white Shihakusho.

'Vice-Captain Sasakibe. This kid is here to be placed in a squad. Will ya take him in to see the Captain-commander?'

'Vice-Captain Abarai. Of course, come this way, young man.'

Kogase followed the Vice-Captain to a large, which Sasakibe knocked on. When a voice replied 'enter' they walked in.

The man who greeted them was older than time itself. Captain-Commander Yamamoto had been a Captain for over five thousand years and the Captain-Commander for more than a thousand of those years.

Standing in the office with him, were Shunsui Kyoraku and Toshiro Hitsugaya. 'Thought I'd take a break from Jushiro's bedside to see you placed' Shunsui grinned, which Kogase thought must have taken extreme effort to conjure up at that moment. Jushiro and Shunsui had been friends for many, many years.

'Thank you, Captain Kyoraku and Captain Hitsugaya. I am honoured to be in your presence.'

'Kogase Sonoyuushi. You will be placed in... Squad three, as Eighth Seat, as recognition of your high-level skills and capability of summoning your Zanpakuto's Shikai. Dismissed!'

K k he could be a distant cousin, btw my friend owns a gaia guild of bleach, she wants to join our rp but she also wanted to know if we wanted to use her guild to continue on cuz she said it is easie to use. her and my character have history(aka her and my personal rp) which if she joins will add more to the story.

That's fine, but the only problem is that we have hardly any vacant Soul Reaper positions left now. She can have a couple of Soul Reapers and use Aizen and the Espada? I would rather stay on this forum, as we have already introduced most of the background story and also introduced a lot of character bios as well. But, if she wants to join, then that's fine. Just tell her to come on the forum and have a look through the pages and then leave me a comment and a bio of her character.
