I paced the room. The ticking clock, small yet repetitively annoying, echoed inside my head. The rain pattered on the windowpanes.

All these sounds that I couldn't stop… everything so… loud…

I sat in an armchair by the crackling fire as my eyes scanned the room around me. Forest green walls, a spiral staircase to my left, the living room was the same yet so different from before. There was an emptiness in the chamber and in my head and soul that had always been filled by her.

So this is just another "Biggerstaff daily life" story. But I'm in the mood right now. So...here goes.

Clang. My eyes fluttered halfway open. I didn't have the strength to open them fully. I lifted my head about two inches from my comfortable pillow, but found I couldn't go any farther. I fell back and let my eyes drift shut again.

Clang. This next guttural, horrible noise was accompanied by a voice shouting, "Get up! Get up!" I felt my body rock from side to side when I realized my bed was being kicked at.

Another clang was sounded when the pot had presumably been dropped to my hardwood floor....

So, you can prolly tell I'm having a really crap week.

On Monday, I was really sick, so I missed school. Coincedentally, Monday is the day we have Music class. Furthermore, we got a new assignment for Music on that Monday I was away.

Right now, we're learning about social conscience music, which the teachers think are songs with meaning, and really make us think, but are really sorted into 2 categories.

Hi everyone. It's nice to meet you all, I'm Athena Biggerstaff. I'm writing this article because of Lucius Malloy's wall post, requesting that we write articles about ourselves.

I'm a very new newbie. I only joined a couple weeks ago, but it's been a lot of fun. Everyone here has been incredible nice, but I feel I haven't been branching out enough. So I don't really know what's happened with this spot, but from what I've gathered it's the old worry about newbies and stuff.
As far as my opinion goes, the worry for me is not that there is too many people, it's that the nobody seems to know them. Like, all of the originals met each other on the reasons forum, so we all already knew each other. This meant that nobody felt left out, cause we could all just hang out with each other. Then it grew a bit to people on the HP vs Twi spot, which was still fine, cause we'd all met each other. We all knew each other, and it felt really close and personal....

Okay...I just saw best and Malloys articles, and some of the comments on them.

First off, in a way, I do agree. I feel like I don't know anyone anymore. I don't recognize half the people who come on here, and I don't even know who we all are anymore.

Second....well, this kind of goes with the first. Yes, I haven't been coming on here as much anymore. I didn't think anyone noticed until I read some of the comments. I dunno, I guess this place has changed. And no, nothing against anyone. (Especially since I don't' really know any of the newbies-I at least like to get to know people before I start...

I normally wouldn't post an article like this, but I'm really proud of myself at the moment for doing this.
When I was in fifth grade, this group of girls would constantly torment me because I was... weird, basically, and I had no friends. Because of that I've had a hard time opening up to people, and I'm still kind of shy. I've changed a lot since then, and I've been thinking about what I should have done instead of crying about it and blaming myself. Well, some of those girls recently friended me on Facebook and they're harassing me AGAIN. I'm making this an article cuz I'm just so damn proud...

I'm really sorry to say all of this guys :/ But it needs to be said, imo. I feel like we're on the brink of a fight, and I think it's better to get everything out.

Well first of all, I don't feel like I really belong here... The family tree has grown so much I can't even keep up with it. And it is really just mental >.< We have great-great-great-great grand kids? Siriusly? :S Before, you could have memorized the tree. In fact almost everyone had it memorized... Now, probably the only one who could memorized it is Hermione Granger :| And it's way too hard to follow......

The breeze had wafted through the cabin that day, making my bed smell like strawberries. The sun streamed in, dancing delicately in the dust and warming my face. I had wanted to stay in bed forever that day, but, alas, the conch horn blew.
