Adian's Real Name?

So I am unsure about something.
At Tv.com where it lists the cast of the show Sam W. is listed with the character name Ian Daniel "Adian" McColin, but I have seen the entire first season and what there is of the second and I must have missed where we hear that his real name is Ian Daniel McCollin?
