Being Human (U.S) Question
They killed Mitchel off in season three in UK Being human do you think they'll do the same for the US version.
I do know that the reason why is because he was shooting for a few other movies and wasn't going to be able to fit the show in.

As much as Mitchell's development as a character made sense and satisfied me as a viewer, I don't think the US version would go the same route with Aidan. There are already slight differences that point to a more personal struggle existing between Bishop and Aidan, with various other characters as leverage.

First off, I wanna say thank you for this glorious SPOILER!! as it hasn't aired yet in Canada or the US yet.
Too factors come to mind as why they did this;
1. Aidan Turner has scored a main role in The Hobbit, that he will be shooting in New Zealand for the next 2 years. They had to make an escape route for his character if he isn't available to shoot another series.
2. Like Joss Whedon, Toby Whithouse isn't afraid to kill his main characters and then find an overly creative 'loop hole' way to bring him back. If Herrick can be resurrected after being ripped apart by George (god only knows what was left of him after that. Guts, dust...?) they can find away to bring Mitchell back. Dear God! in this series all you have to do is knock down a couple doors LOL.
Aidan Turner said in an interview that he wouldn't mind doing a 4th series if the producers worked around his schedule (Richard Armitage is filming Strike Back, and Martin Freeman will be returning for Sherlock, so it could fit) Its ultimately upto Toby and the producers what to do next. I personally won't watch it without Mitchell.
