Yesterday I slept and I dreamed I was a princess
I dreamed of the power of an educated woman
in the times of knights
And I don't mean what we used to do: embroidery, singing or drawing
no, but to that ancient art that barely lingers between us now,
to make man believe that he is the one who take the reins
We didn't have the freedom to be indomitable, but we have been secret.
We domed the king with kisses and planned alliances and revenge in our beds.
In my dream, my mother, the Queen, taught me to be gentle, to appear submissive but to be daring in secret as far as God would allow me.
To play with my long dresses and not with swords, to reign with the look of my eyes. To show my pride and courage in my walk and my words, to make the kings fall before me with holy words of devotion.
And our game became immortalized in chess and that is why we are the king's most important guards, protecting his back without anyone knowing.
We take care of his steps,
we whispered him war plans at dawn,
and we wait patiently at home with our children,
to see the fruits of our harvest arrive.

They say that that it is the art of women, to wait for glory from the shadow, because they say always behind a great man there is a great woman.

I dreamed that I was a princess but then i knew it was time to leave my crown and i take a sword and fight. Cause we've tired of being behind the scenes, of being forced to keep us in line with light.
We suffer, we crie and we fall once and twice but we are strong, we are fighters, we are women.
We have the ability to create and destroy, we bring light.
We are hurricanes and we are flowers with thorns.

Because our art is not to stay behind, it is to grow and educate ourselves to be more free. It's fighting with words for what we belive and stand up for our sisters.
Because we left this world as princesses and we began as warriors, because when we finish the warrior world we will start as queens and then it will have been worth it.

Rules for Men

1) Any man who brings a camera to a bachelor party may be legally killed and eaten by his fellow partygoers.

2) Under no circumstances may two men share an umbrella.

3) Unless he murdered someone in your family, you must bail a friend out of jail within 12 hours.

4) If you've known a guy for more than 24 hours, his sister is off limits forever, unless you actually marry her.

5) Complaining about the brand of free beer in a buddy's fridge is forbidden. Gripe at will if the temperature is unsuitable.

6) When stumbling upon other guys watching a sporting event,...

The Difference between you and me!
Calling me FAKE won't make you REAL,
Calling me STUPID won't make you SMART,
Calling me WEAK won't make you STRONG,
Calling me UGLY won't make you PRETTY,
Calling me POOR won't make you RICH,
Calling me FAT wont make you SKINNY,
Calling me UNCOOL wont make you COOL,
So why bother?

This is from a little something I found online. This makes a lot of sense to me and I bet it makes sense to other girls like me. Bullying is an ugly thing. Don't let them get to you, girls. They aren't worth your time.

Another email…

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow-down in overall system performance - particularly in the flower and jewellery applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, installation of Husband 1.0 seems to have uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed such other undesirable programs as NFL 5.0, NBA 3.0.and Golf Clubs 4.1.

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

I've tried running Nagging...

More lovely emails!! Ladies, I'm sure you can all vouch for these!

9 WORDS WOMEN USE

1. Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2. Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

3. Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

4. Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!...

"The Rules" from the male side

We always hear ‘the rules’ from the female side. Now here are the rules from the male side. I’m not saying I like them, but it’s only fair to present both sides.

1.    Men are NOT mind readers.

2.    Learn to work the toilet seat. You’re a big girl. If it’s up, put it down. We need it up. You need it down. You don’t hear us complaining about you leaving it down.

3.    Sunday sports: It’s like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.

4.    ...
