This movie disappointed me. It was a book first (i loved the book) and i'm all up for movies based on books but this movie did not do well. Vanessa and Alex, i felt, did not put enough emotion into their characters. They changed a whole bunch of other things that seemed wrong to me. In the book he was a hairy beast like in Beauty and the Beast and in this he was just deformed. In the beginning, they tried too hard to make you think he is a shallow asshole. Too hard i tell you.
