Personally, I think all of them would have been great to see coping with the loss of bending. Bending is their identity, so I think this would have brought SO MUCH character development. I'd watch any of them losing it, and also seeing Asami get bending (should have happened! but I digress).....

I think in book 1, when Korra lost all of her bending, aside from air, this could have been the moment where she did a huge 180 and BAM..... a whole new avatar! I really wanted her to learn from that experience, and not just have everything thrown on a silver platter for her. I wanted her to work on getting the bending back, or learning how to adjust to the downsides that life sometimes throws at us.
