i need a sad anime show with angels in the i i would like some very sad one please help me if you can

Yukito Kunisaki is on a journey in search of the Winged Maiden who was bound to the sky centuries ago, after hearing an old childhood tale from his mother. As Yukito shows his puppet show to people in an attempt to make some money, he finds himself in a small town in which he did not expect to stay very long. However, when he meets an unusual girl named Misuzu, things take a drastic turn as he is invited to stay with her.

By staying in the quaint town, Yukito soon becomes friends with the locals. As he gets to know them better, he learns of their problems and decides to help, putting his search for the Winged Maiden on hold. With his search on hold, and his growing attachment to Misuzu and the small town, will Yukito ever find the Winged Maiden, or is she closer than he thought?

Angel Sanctuary

I agree, Angel Sanctuary is a excelent anime involving angels:)

I would also suggest X 1999 and likely there are others out there. I would say look for apocalyptic animes with angels in them.

Haibane Renmei! I've only watched the 1st episode to be honest, but it does not seem like a comedy. It seems like a deep after life story. Anyway i'll watch it and then i can give more details, but here's the Synopsis (from MAL):

A dream of falling from the sky...and then birth. Rakka is born from a large cocoon into the Old Home, greeted by a group of females with small wings on their backs and shining halos above their heads. Soon Rakka’s own wings grow, a halo is placed on her head and she is told that she must work in the nearby town of Grie. She soon realizes that the town and the entire world they live in are confined behind the Wall, a tall, impenetrable wall that none except the mysterious Toga are allowed to exit.

Angel Beats!:
Angel Beats! takes place at a high school acting as a limbo, where students learn to give up any lingering attachments they still have from life before continuing to an afterlife or reincarnation. Those in the afterlife school can still feel pain as they did when they were alive, as well as dying again, only to awaken later with no injuries. The story follows the main protagonist Otonashi, a boy who lost his memories of his life after dying. He meets Yuri, a girl who invites him to join the Afterlife Battlefront , an organization she founded and leads which fights against God for the cruel fates the SSS members experienced in life.
