Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Battle Royale: The Chimpz + Starset Debut High, But Black Veil Brides Rule Video Countdown Again
It’s four straight weeks and counting for Black Veil Brides atop the Battle Royale Video Countdown and ‘Goodbye Agony’ is now one week away from being retired to the Battle Royale Hall of Fame, following in the footsteps of the band’s last video, ‘Heart of Fire.’ The group did have some new faces challenging them this week as The Chimpz‘ ‘California’ clip debuted all the way up at No. 2 and Starset‘s ‘Carnivore’ video made a dent at No. 7 in its premiere week on the Battle Royale.
Also of note, Korn returned with a force as ‘Hater’ re-entered the countdown at No. 3. However, as the longest tenured clip on the Battle Royale, it will enjoy one final week of voting before being retired. And it should be noted that Shaman’s Harvest‘s ‘Dangerous’ video cracked the Top 5 at No. 5 this week, its best positioning yet. See the Battle Royale Top 10 rock and metal videos of the week below.
As for next week, you can count Kid Rock (‘First Kiss’), Sleepwave (‘Whole Again’), Marty Friedman (‘Undertow’), Comeback Kid (‘Didn’t Even Mind’) and Alpha Tiger (‘We Won’t Take It Anymore’) among the new additions looking to take down Black Veil Brides. See their videos, along with every clip in the countdown, by clicking on the link in the voting poll below. You can vote once per hour for your favorite clip through the deadline of Friday, Jan. 16 at 11AM ET. So come back often to make sure your top video makes the cut.
