Everybody in Jasper Park is getting ready for Halloween. Kate, Humphrey and the pups discover a mysterious cave that's been considered "out of limits" from the park. They go to explore but then something goes terribly wrong and they find themselves fighting for their lives against a devil-like wolf pack that supposedly lives there. Meanwhile, Garth, Lilly, their three pups Star, Jared, and Dori and the family try to come up with a plan to save Kate and Humphrey, defeat the devil wolves and return home for Halloween.

IT WAS A GLORIOUS DAY IN JASPER. THE PUPS WERE OUT PLAYING. KATE AND LILLY WERE HAPPY. HUMPHREY CAME OVER AND WANTED TO SEE KATE. HEY KATE, HUMPHREY SAID. HI HUMPHREY. DO YOU WANT TO PLAY TAG WITH ME AND LILLY? KATE SAID. YES WHY NOT? HUMPHREY SAID HAPPILY. SOON SOME HUNTERS CAME AND HUMPHREY TRIED TO HIDE, BUT WAS TRANQUILIZED BY A DART. HUMPHREY NO! KATE CRIED. AS KATE WAS CHASING THE CAR IT GOT MUCH FASTER AND WAS SOON LEAD AWAY. KATE KNEW IT WAS TIME FOR A BIG ADVENTURE.
