Kate: *Sleeping*

Runt: *Walks up to Nick Wolfe* Mommy...I had a nightmare...

Kate: *Wakes up a bit* Runt...this is the third one this week...what happened?

Runt: Well...I was trying to escape a giant bear. I climbed up a big tree, but it knocked me down and-

*10 years ago, Outside of Jasper National Park, 9:00 PM*

Young Kate: *Running, crying* Mommy! Daddy! Where are you?!

Owl: *Dive-bombs Young Kate*

Young Kate: *Dodges behind a rock, crying*

Owl: *Lands* Oh delicious little wolf pup, where are you?

Young Kate: *Goes quiet*

Owl: *Goes to the rock* I can smell you...

Young Kate: *Closes her eyes*

Owl: *Looks down* I found you!

Young Thunder Wolfe: *Throws a Lightning Kunai at the Owl*

Owl: *Gets zapped and cooked into a crisp*

Young Thunder Wolfe: *Spots Young Kate* Little sis! *Goes to her* Are you alright? *De-henshins*

Young Kate: *Jumps into Young Nick Wolfe's arms* Big bro, I went on a hunting trip with some friends, and then we were attacked by bears...two of them died...

Young Nick Wolfe: *Hugs Young Kate* Don't worry...I'm here for you.

Young Kate: Thanks...

*Later*

Young Nick Wolfe: *Watching over the sleeping Young Kate*

Young Kate: *Wakes up* AH!!

Young Nick Wolfe: *Goes to her* What's wrong?

Young Kate: I had a nightmare...I was trying to escape this bear...and then it...

Young Nick Wolfe: *Picks her up* You know how I can change forms?

Young Kate: *Nods*

Young Nick Wolfe: Well, just think that I can defeat that bear.

Young Kate: Alright...I'll try that...*Goes to sleep*

*Kate's Dream*

Young Kate: *Being chased by a large bear*

Large Bear: *Jumps at Young Kate*

Young Nick Wolfe: *Blocks the Large Bear* Henshin! *Becomes Young Wind Wolfe*

Young Wind Wolfe: *Summons a windstorm and blows the bear away*

Young Kate: *Stops* Thank you big bro!

*Kate wakes up, the next morning*

Eve: *Spots Young Nick Wolfe and Young Kate* Nick! Kate! *Runs to them* I was worried sick!

Young Nick Wolfe: Don't worry.

*Present time*

Runt: So...just imagine Uncle Wolfe battling the creature?

Kate: *Nods* Now go back to sleep.

Runt: Okay *Goes back to sleep*

*Runt's Dream*

Runt: *Being chased by a large bear*

Large Bear: *Jumps at Runt*

Nick Wolfe: *Blocks the Large Bear* Henshin! *Becomes Victory Wolfe*

Victory Wolfe: *Summons the Clear Arrow and fires at the Large Bear*

Large Bear: *Runs off*

Runt: Thanks Uncle Wolfe!

Chapter 13: Heading back to Jasper

Humphrey carried Kate to the front at about 5:00 a.m. to start driving. He got on the freeway and headed Northbound to Canada. Kate woke up about an hour and 30 minutes after Humphrey set off.
“Woah, we’re heading back already?”
“Yup, we better get home in the daylight so the pack can see the truck.”
“You’re right, good point.”
There was a truck that cut Humphrey off, sending him off the road.
“Yay! More fun!” Humphrey said.
Humphrey got back on the road and came up next to the truck. Humphrey looked at the driver. Pure shock went into his body. It was Garn!
“Ahh, crap!”...

You know how when you get older you think back to the old days, about how they were so easy and everything made sense. I thought about good memories almost every waking hour of the day but that's all they were now were memories and they couldn't help us now. Awaking from my day dream I remembered were we were at and the threat we were under.
