Since the 599XX is a race car, and therefore no use to Rich and Sweets, and since they are my absolute best friends on here, I decided to give them something they could actually use.
Enter: The 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Alpha and Omega edition
This one off edition of the classic Subaru Impreza features the same flat four turbocharged engine, the displacement was raised from 2.1 liters to 2.4. It has a race exhaust, race ready camshafts that up the power by a hundred and thirty six horsepower, an upgraded turbo that increases the power by another seventy nine brake horsepower, increased front and rear tires, TSW Trackstar 4 rims, and a lightened set of carbon fiber body panels that removes four hundred and sixty pounds from the car. The final brake horsepower count is upped to 699 bhp, and 687 pound-feet of torque. But, to make sure that the car is somewhat under control on the streets, a small switch has been installed that limits the cars power to a mere three hundred and fifty brake horsepower. Flip the switch, and it's a docile car. Flip it back, and it will own!
The brakes were replaced with carbon ceramic brake rotors and discs, giving the car incredible stopping power.
The suspension has been tuned to be a bit stiffer, to eliminate body roll in the turns.
The exterior claims an INS Street front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper, a roof spoiler, and a trio of Alpha and Omega badges on the front doors and on the trunk lid. LED head and tail lights round out the exterior mods.
Since the car now belongs to Rich and Sweets, their names are now above the passenger door, which, in this car, is on the left side.
The car claims a top speed of 220 mph, a 0-60 time of 2.3 seconds, a 0-100 time of 5.2 seconds, and a braking distance of 103 feet from 60 mph.
Regarding the interior, it's a useful car. The sat/nav remains, with an XM Sirius satellite radio, an iPod hookup, and a DVD player in the back seat. The trunk has a cargo net across it, which holds the contents in place during hard corners.
