Finn and PB sat under a tree, with its huge branches, laden with leaves, sheltering them from the scorching rays of the sun. They fed each other slices of delicious vanilla cake the Candy People had made for the two lovebirds. One delightful thought continuously ran through his mind: I’m with Bubblegum! Her long gorgeous hair, that elegant figure, those smooth, delicate hands…this goddess, whose beauty can never be fully described by mere words, was sitting next to him. Pure joy engulfed him.
PB giggled when Finn got bits of cake all over his mouth. Oh that voice, so sweet and angelic! To Finn’s ears it was a pleasant melody. He stretched out his hand for a napkin, not without a smile.
Just as Finn wiped his face, he felt PB’s arms gently wrap around his neck. She whispered “I love you Finn” in his ears. Such an effect this had on Finn! His heart throbbed faster than before. She slowly removed Finn’s hat, revealing his short golden hair and seductively caressed his face. Her hands stopped by his cheeks. All this time Finn was too overwhelmed with shock to do nothing more than stare into PB’s beautiful face.
Then their lips touched as PB hungrily kissed him. Finn tasted those sweet lips for the first time. What a heavenly sensation he felt invade his heart!
He couldn’t resist the urge for more. His hands were tightly enveloped around her waist, for he wished for this moment to never end. These feelings enraptured the mind of the princess as well. They were locked in this kiss for an immense amount of time. Could love ever exist so strong between any other couple?
At last, they reluctantly stopped, not muttering a single word. They simply looked into each other’s eyes. Finn knew that he had finally, after spending all those years alone, found his soul mate. He wanted nothing more than to live forever with her. She too realized that Finn was the only one in the world whose charms could ever entice her.
With PB resting her head on Finn's shoulders, they held hands and watched as the sun dipped below the horizon, before departing.
