Jake was so close to finishing the Zombies from Outer Space arcade game. It the newest game in the arcade, although it looked old. You play a guy in a yard shooting zombie spaceships. The zombies in their UFOs look like green pixel blocks with goofy eyes. If you fail and they land, they eat you alive in a spray of red pixels. Everyone was talking about it. It was all Jake could think about.
Everyone said it was impossible to finish-the zombies always land and eat you. Jake could have finished it yesterday, but Finn called him on his phone and broke his streak. He was so close. Everyone would think of him a legend. But Jake came up with a plan.
See, he saw where the janitor keeps the arcade keys. So at midnight, when Finn and BMO thought Jake was asleep, he sneaked back into the arcade. He crept through the rows of silent games and found ZfOs. He switched it on and 8-bit music filled the room. Then he started playing.
The first few levels were easy but as he leveled up, the action ramped up. Suddenly, there was a slithering noise behind him and Jake turned around. There was nothing there. The damn machine said GAME OVER. He growled and had to go back to the very beginning. "Stop being such a baby," Jake told himself.
He moved up levels quickly and zombies began flooding the screen. No one had ever gotten that far! Suddenly, Jake heard groans and shuffling feet. Impossible. He was was alone. The game was getting to him, but Jake couldn't stop playing.
His hands were flying across the buttons, blasting the wave of zombies. Jake was on fire! The "VICTORY!" flashed on the screen. Then-"Behind you!" Jake spun around. ZOMBIES! In the arcade! Dozens of them were crawling and moaning towards him. He couldn't move. Jake didn't know what to do.
"Get in here, it's safe!" It was from the hero of ZfOS, waving at him from the screen. Jake didn't even think. He dove into the screen and landed on the grass. "Help!" Jake shouted, but he wasn't listening. He ran toward the arcade screen and jumped through.
Jake tried to follow but instead he ran into solid glass. Jake pressed against it and saw him the arcade, without a zombie in sight. He turned and Jake saw that he had his face. Jake pounded on the glass, but it was no use.
"Congrats," he said. "You've finished the game. Now you get to enjoy it for the rest of your life!"
The zombies started descending from the sky. Jake ran into the pixelly gloom, his cruel laughter echoing around Jake.
LEVEL ONE.

Me: To make things straight, Jake wins the game and the hero guy in the game gets out of the machine and lives Jake's life. Jake is then trapped inside the machine for the rest of his life (that is, until PB or Finn finds out..but this one-shot).

hello diary this is me finn alot of people being fighting over who would i go with even i,can't choose, i'll think about it hmm how about fp shes hot and at my age but i cant live being always burned, PB too old for me if only there were no lemon grab she can be 13 forever,marcilline have the same like of adventures but she looks like young but i know she's 1000 years old and have no likes on me hmm who should i choose hmm.......jake:hey finn what are you doing!!Finn:NOTHING jake:is that your diary finn: NO well whats in there finn:I ALREADY SAID NOTHING jake:*stares on finn*........... works for me good night finn Finn:shooo that was a close one and dear diary jake almost see my diary good night.
Just saying that for such a good show with so many fans their are only a hand full of people who actually are active on this site :( which I think is a real shame:/ (these people will know who I'm talking about..) Not saying that everyone has to be so in your face with forums and replies 'cause everyones different and some people don't feel so passionate about the cartoon I love. What I'm trying to say is that this site hasn't got much spirit although it should be truly legendary!! and I take my hat off to the few people keeping it alive! :D
