In the middle of the night again, you wake up feeling a sharp twisting pain in your stomach. You twitch and you quickly yet gently move Randy's hands off your waist. You leave the couch and you run to the bathroom and you head to the toilet. You just start throwing up and throwing up into the toilet, closing your eyes but feeling the acidic burn in your throat. So a whole month passed by and you and the whole group have gotten closer, esp. Randy. You and Shawn have started to barely hang out outside of school and you spend the rest of your time either studying, sleeping, eating, or hanging out with both Angie and Randy.

**Friday**

Randy: So what do you wanna do this weekend Jamie?
Jamie: Um I don't know. My grandma wants me to go to church with her but I'm not all that spiritual.

You and Randy have been getting pretty close and you guys can crack jokes to each other now. In 6th period, you go to your coach and you give him the note from the doctor. You look at the coach's expression while reading it and he looks like 0,0...

You and the varsity team are all practicing drills and today for some reason, you feel really out of breathe and dehydrated. On your water break, you gulp down your whole water bottle but you still feel dehydrated. You feel dizzy and you fall on your knees.

Coach: Sullivan!! Get your behind over here!!

You try to get up but you can't. You just fall right back down to your knees and the assistant coach goes to you, Tommy.

Tommy: What's wrong Jamie?
Jamie: I feel dizzy.
Tommy: Why don't you sit down. Do you need water?
Jamie: Y-yah...

Tommy gets you cold water and you gulp it...

Sitting at the pew in church that afternoon, Jamie Sullivan, the daughter of Reverend Sullivan, reached for her Bible, opened it and began to turn the pages, her hazel eyes scanning the words and phrases that she had picked out at random and mentally began studying.

Finally, her eyes lit up with some sparkle when she came to the book of Psalms. She then began to read Psalm 1 up to verse 4.

For some reason that only she knew, Jamie felt that she had to read those verses. She knew that they were very important – both the words and the phrases.

Landon Carter was on the stage opening night, shaking like a leaf under the hot lights. He honestly didn't know why he cared so much. So what if he made a fool of himself? He's Logan Carter; his popularity would save him, wouldn't it? Maybe that's why. Or maybe it was her… sitting there looking beautiful

Chapter 4: Calling All Angels

Landon and Jamie was on the poach swinging on their swing. Jamie looked at the sunset. Landon put his arm around her shoulder. Landon and Jamie kissed then the night began to fall.

Landon and Jamie came into the apartment.

Jamie put on her pajamas and she left asleep on the couch. Landon admired Jamie sleeping. Then the time was left '10:17' and then a left of light
came down on Landon.

Then it was Crystal. Crystal pushed her hair back and she walked up to Landon.

"I see you are very happy with Jamie," said Crystal

Landon woke up next to the window. He stretched his arm and he felt someone next to him. He looked over and he saw Jamie Sullivan.

He felt her short brown hair and he saw her eyes still closed. Landon looked at his appointment book and no meeting for a doctor in sight.

Landon looked as happy as he can be.

Landon woke up at 9 o'clock and he walked to kitchen and he saw his father there. Worth didn't make it to the funeral but he wished he did.

After arguing with his father Landon wanted to walk around. He felt bad after doing that do Jamie.
