“Willow, you look perfect,” he said, kissing her cheek. “If Wally doesn't stop this, he's even more brain dead than we all thought.”
“She's amazing, isn't she?”
“Becca, you're amazing. She's...perfect,” Robin said, winking at Willow.
Becca placed a hand on her head, falling onto Willow's bed.
“Oh the pain! My loves left me for another!” Becca teased.
“Oh yeah. I'm so far away,” Robin said dryly.
Becca smiled, standing up.
“Let's go. Willow has a show to do.”
“Can't you do it Becca? You are a great actor.”
“Thanks but no. Billy's sweet and all, but I already have my prince. We need to prove that yours exists.”
“Alright. I'm ready then.”
“Good. Robin, tell them we're coming.”
“Sure.”
Robin stole a kiss before heading on his way. Becca looked at Willow, a huge smile on her face.
“I really hope things work out,” she whispered. “If not, then Wally was never for you.”
“Thank you Becca.”
Becca took her sister's hand, readying herself. They heard the music that signaled for them to move, and, putting her brave face on, Becca lead her sister out.
Wally heard the music. But he ignored it. He had seen Willow in her lovely dress, but had expected them to laugh and admit their joke. Now he was sitting in his room, heart racing. He felt threatened. But why? He'd finally seen that Willow would never be his to control. He'd admitted that both Robin and Billy had been right. He was jealous and trying to control her. As he sat on his bed, he thought. His thoughts turned to Willow and he would be the first to say he loved her. But the longer he sat, the more he admitted he never had. Not truly.
He'd loved her in a little more than brother and sister way. This whole experience had opened his eyes. And now he could say that he really did love Willow. In an eternal way. He looked at his watch, seeing that he'd been there for five minutes. He quickly got up and ran outside. He froze for a minute, catching his breath at how beautiful Willow looked.
“Stop!” he heard himself yell.
All eyes turned to him and he felt his cheeks heat up. But his eyes stayed glued on Willow.
“Willow, don't do this! Please don't do this!”
Wally walked up the aisle, towards her.
“What? Why?” Willow asked, eyes searching his.
Wally had reached her by now, ignoring the fact that everyone was staring at them. He didn't see Becca and Robin smirk at each other or Billy backing away. All he saw was Willow.
“Because I love you!”
Willow looked at him, her heart in her eyes.
“W-what?” she whispered.
“Willow, I love you. Please don't do this.”
“Wally, did you mean that?”
“Yes! I love you with all my heart! I'd rather run around the world till my heart bursts than live without you!”
