Zeus sat in his chair across from Volt and Fang.
"It looks like he's holding her in Hades."
"Do you think you cou-" Zeus stopped Volt in mid-sentence.
"That is a journey you must take. If I did release her, she would not be able to return to the mortal world."
"Can you help in any way?"
"There are three pearls in the United States. Hermes will help you from here." Zeus pointed towards Hermes standing next to a table.
"Alright. You'll probably need this." He handed Volt a map.
"This will give you the locations of all the pearls, then the entrance to Hades. You might need this too." He handed Fang a pen.
"It's a pen. It's a 'pen'" Hermes rolled his eyes. "Click the top of it." Fang pressed on the top and it extended into a sword.
"Whoa."
"Take this too." Hermes handed Volt a shield folded into a small contraption that hung onto your wrist.
"There's a button on the back that extends it. Now, the pearls will teleport you out of Hades, concentrate on where you want to go. Other than that you're set to go."
"Thanks Hermes!" Volt bolted out the door, with Fang right behind her.

"Go Fish." Darien sighed and picked up a card.
"This is so boring!" I got up from where I was sitting.
"It's not my fault!" Darien threw down his cards.
"Yes it is! YOU kidnapped me! YOU brought me here. YOU wanted revenge! Why am I even here?"
"We wanted revenge."
"No, there's something more than that." I glared at him.
"Fine. I want your brother dead, with his smart comments, and smart Alec remarks. He's one of the most powerful gone wrong experiments I know. All of the villains want him dead. There's a reward for it 1 million bucks for him. And I'm gonna be the one to turn him in." I grabbed his collar.
"Touch him, and I swear I will kill you myself." I snarled my words at him and walked away.

Becca walked through the snow, up towards Mt. Justice. The winter air was refreshing and Becca loved it, even if her lips were turning blue. Becca knew she could have used the Zeta Beam, but she had already been in Happy Harbor when Robin called. Her bike had gotten totaled by some reckless driver and she had needed a lift. And a tow. The crunch of the snow rang in Becca's ears everytime she stepped. It was a beautiful sound but it added a sad thought to her happy heart. This was her first real Christmas without her parents. i decided to take a quick walk to get Artemis and Wally's yelling out of my head. there where little snowflakes falling and frost gathered on the ground, the harbor had a happy Christmasy feel to it, i walked by a little group of kids and they were singing.
"Dashing through the snow, in a pair of broken skis over the hills we go crashing into trees bam, bam, bam the snow is turning red i think i'm almost dead woke up in the hospital with stitches in my head" the song was odd but the kids were laughing, you just had to smile, but then the kids went on to the second verse.
"Jingle bells, Batman smells," WAIT WHAT?! my eyes widen
