Becca walked through the snow, up towards Mt. Justice. The winter air was refreshing and Becca loved it, even if her lips were turning blue. Becca knew she could have used the Zeta Beam, but she had already been in Happy Harbor when Robin called. Her bike had gotten totaled by some reckless driver and she had needed a lift. And a tow. The crunch of the snow rang in Becca's ears everytime she stepped. It was a beautiful sound but it added a sad thought to her happy heart. This was her first real Christmas without her parents. She sniffled a little, part from the cold and part from the sad thought. A shiver ran throughout her body and Becca hurried along. She reached Mt. Justice and stepped inside.
Recognized: Shade B0-13
“Becca!”
A smile lit her face as her boyfriend came up to her with a warm hug.
“Hey,” she greeted.
“Man. You look frozen.”
“I feel frozen. Inside and out.”
Robin smiled at her.
“Take your jacket off. There's a fire going in the living room.”
“There is? But there's no fireplace! How'd you manage that?”
Robin smirked in return and Becca, sighing in pleased defeat, did as she was told. Robin disappeared and Becca made her way to the living room. She smiled, chuckling a little, when she saw the fire. Somehow, Robin had been able to get a little metal box and made a fire in it. All the smoke shot up through a makeshift chimney and towards the back of the mountain, away from town.
“Do you like it?” Robin asked.
Becca jumped a little. She had been so focused on the fire that she hadn't heard Robin come up behind her.
“Oh! Yes. It's lovely.”
“Hmm. I wanted to see how beautiful you were in the light of a fire.”
Becca blushed, smiling at her lover.
“You're sweet.”
“You deserve it.”
Becca went to him, receiving the kiss he placed on her lips. Robin pulled away and sat her on the couch, close to the fire. Becca watched as he brought in a tray of hot chocolate, pocky, and a small plate of cookies.
“Well you certainly out did yourself,” Becca commented as Robin snuggled close to her.
“I wanted this to be special. This is our first Christmas together and I want you to remember it.”
“I will always remember this. You're amazing.”
Robin smiled, placing a kiss on her forehead.
“Close your eyes,” he whispered.
Becca did s she was told, feeling Robin move around before settling next to her.
“Okay. Open.”
Becca opened her eyes and looked at the small box Robin was holding. He handed it to her and Becca opened the gift. Inside was a silver necklace. A little heart pendant was engraved and Becca read the beautiful words.
To live is meaningless with out you, Becca. I'd rather never know you than live without you. I love you, Sparrow. Merry Christmas.
Becca looked up at Robin, tears in her eyes.
“Oh Robin! You're wonderful!”
“You're precious. I love you Becca.”
“I love you Dick.”

“I have another surprise for you.”
“What? But Robin, this necklace is wonderful.”
“I know. Just...stand up.”
Becca stood and watched Robin walk over to a CD player. He hit the play button and the Christmas version of “Beautiful” came on. It was preformed by Jim Brickman. Robin took hold of Becca, slowly leading her into a steady waltz.
“Robin-”
“You're parents danced to this at their wedding. I thought we should practice for ours.”
Becca smiled, relaxing in her boyfriend's hold. He rested his head next to hers and whispered the lyrics in her ear.
“Cause I've seen the miracle of snow on Christmas day. The miracle of Love's first kiss, that takes your breath away. And underneath the mistletoe, I know dreams come true. Cause I've never seen anything as beautiful as you.”
Becca hummed happily, feeling safe in Robin's loving arms.

An hour later, Becca and Robin sat cuddled by their fire. Becca was feeling elated and her heart sung a happy song. Robin had made this the best Christmas of her life and she was loving every minute of it.
“I have one more surprise,” Robin whispered.
“What is it?”
Robin smiled and got up. Becca immediately felt the cold rush back inside of her. She watched Robin head towards his room and open the door.
“I already named her. I hope you don't mind.”
Becca gave him a puzzled look. Her face turned into surprise when a black and white Akita puppy exited his room. It wore a blue collar with a tree shaped pendant. It's brown eyes sparkled when it saw Becca and released a happy woof. Robin brought the dog over and Becca pet the soft fur. She lifted the tag and read the name on it. Joy Stevens Becca looked up.
“You named it after my mother?”
“Yeah. I thought you might need something to keep the memories alive.”
Becca closed her eyes, tears sliding from beneath.
“Robin. This is the best Christmas I've ever had. You're so sweet. So loving. I cherish you more than anything else. I love you.”
Robin kissed her sweetly.
“I love you too. You deserved a nice Christmas, after all that you've gone through.”
Becca opened her eyes, looking at the ceiling. A smile lit her face.
“You see what's above me?” she whispered.
Robin smirked and, true to tradition, kissed Becca underneath the mistletoe. Later, they walked in the snow with Joy, the stars shining brightly. A shooting star flew across the sky.
“Make a wish,” Becca demanded.
“I don't need to,” Robin answered. He pulled Becca close. “All of my Christmas wishes have come true. Through you.”
Becca smiled and, with the snow falling around them, received her Christmas kiss.
Chapter Seven- "...And More Clashes (With a side of plot twists)"

Revenge leaped onto the roof, landing in a crouch. The assassin had fled to the trees, but she would have to re-appear soon. Revenge's sour mood was worsened by the archer re-appearing next to him.

"I thought I made it clear--"

"that you can't handle one assassin?" Artemis asked, smirking and putting a hand on her hip. "Yeah."

"She's good." Revenge said, turning back to look at the forest.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night." Artemis smirked.

Revenge frowned at her, by turned to the park at the sounds of commotion. Police were firing...

Chapter Two- "Second Date"

"YOU PRACTICALLY WENT ON A DATE WITH HIM!!!" Wally yelled.

"That was the mission, Wally." Nightwing said, walking into the room and smirking. "Jealous?"

"What?" Wally sputtered. "No! I just don't think she should be going out with a rich piece of slime!"

Nightwing looked hurt.

"Sorry, dude."

"Was and Is the mission." Batman said as the computer recognized his arrival. "Revenge doesn't know how deep this runs. The assassination attempt on Grant was merely a face put on by the League of Shadows."

Artemis raised an eyebrow. "Grant seemed fine for a guy that had almost died."...

I remember those nights
Standing under artificial lights
Searching hard to find
Someone out of sight, and out of mind

(Age: Delta 5 Brant 6)

I run down the halls looking for my team mates, the angel and demon girl. I hated the lights here, too much like Cadmus. I ran...

"It means," she whispered, centimeters from him, "that I want a real kiss."
"How long?" Nathan asked Fin, hand in hers. They were resting on the beach, surrounded by the sparkling ocean reflecting the sunrise. When they'd returned, Batman was not pleased, to say the very least, that the jet was crashed somewhere in the Arctic, but he was glad to know that they were safe. Nathan had whisked Fin away to a place they could talk about everything that had happened between them and what it might have done to their hearts. In the cold, everything was at a risk.
"Since... since we met, I suppose. You were just..." Fin shuffled her head a little on his shoulder, her glasses...

The night was cold and brisk, a sharp contrast to the sunny warmth of earlier that day. The vast yard was empty, the bushes rustling in the wind, the grass alive with the melody of crickets. Inside the house, the man was moving from room to room, the thick carpeting in the long hallways muffling the creaking of the floorboards under his feet. He was a well-dressed man, although age had not been kind to his skin, leaving him with a fair share of wrinkles. His presence was so gentle, his demeanor so kindly, that he was beloved by all of the children residing within the rooms that he was visiting....

Becca entered the gym a little over three hours later. She watched them exercise for a few more minutes before blowing a sharp whistle.
“Time's up. Go cool off and have a rest.”
“But it's only been three hours!” Billy said. “You ordered five.”
Becca smiled.
“It's funny. Time flies when you're waiting for five hours instead of three, doesn't it?”
“Reverse psychology,” Beck said. “Nice.”
Becca smiled, giving a playful bow.
“Now go shower and get relaxed. And I expect you to obey orders next time.”
All six heads nodded before they disappeared. Becca smiled. She looked around...

Artemis was carrying popcorn. I had drinks in my hand. No alcohol, You never knew with Bats. Megan made other stuff flow to the TV while she carried the precious pies. The guys looked up. They were sitting like I remember, Connor was sitting against the couch and the chair, legs spread on the floor. Kaldur was sitting on a chair (). Robin and Wally were sitting each at the other side of the couch. They had moved the chair against the couch. Wally hanged over the couch, grinning like a big happy idiot. “So you came Arty.” She just smiled back, jumped over the couch, letting herself land...

"No common you started now so you might as well tell me, i told you about the time a santery towel got stuck in my hair!"
"You're mum told me that!"
"Still!"
"No i just had a bad life with my foster dad"
"No you said something about abuse, did he abuse you?"
"IT DOESN'T MATTER!"
"Yes It does willow!" Wally stood up "You can share your secrets with the wall or something because if you can't tell me you can't tell anyone else!" And he stamped off. Willow leaned forward and buried her face in her hands,...

Nathan had gone to pick up the dagger, but I had stopped him. He shouldn't pick it up. Not with it smoking green. It was poison tipped, and not with a normal handle either. It had a gold handle, with a single emerald embedded into it. After clearing away the poison, I picked it up, and the jewel fell to the ground, followed by a piece of yellowed folded paper. I continued examining the knife, while Robin reached down and grabbed the small piece of parchment. Unfolding it, he read the tiny inscription, and gasped. My attention went from the weapon (obviously made for throwing) to the crumbled...

I don't remember the day I found the Team. Those memories--all memories of my past--are gone, corrupted and removed; but more on that later. I only know now what they told me, but from what I've heard, I picture myself as a kitten. A lost, scrawny, water-sodden kitten, that somehow dragged itself--myself--onto the doorstep and lay there, pitifully, reeking of disease and decay, almost ready to give up, when they opened the door and found me. I'm pretty sure it was only out of pity that they decided to take me in; I had very few powers and skills, and the ones I did have were weak. Like the...

Revenge had had just about enough of the Chosen Warrior.

And continued to voice such matters to Holly.

"And I swear if I see that stuck up, no good, low down-"

"Sam!" Holly interrupted. "Enough about her. I don't wanna talk about this on our date."

Sam frowned and mumbled something like an apology.

"Ah, I was done eating anyway." Holly said, shoving her plate away and sipping something out of her glass.

Revenge tried his best to smile and kissed Holly on the cheek as he helped her up.

"Aww, isn't that sweet?" a voice asked. Sam groaned.

"How come you never do that for me?" Becca asked. "Lemme guess,...

He was unsure how long he'd been walking. He wasn't even sure what part of town he was in at the moment. Fin had been aimlessly wandering since he left the school. How could this have happened? He had been so careful after the discovery of his powers, or at least he thought he had been. There was only so much you can do when everything becomes fragile enough to shatter at your mere touch.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard sirens blaring and suddenly, a firetruck whipped around...

"No, no, no, no!" Revenge said, wiping up the blood with his gloves. There was too much
on the floor. Too much had been lost. The sword that had done the damage was laying
over to the side. Revenge tried to pick it up, but his strength had left him. It clattered
to the floor beside him as he sank to his knees, the unbearable pain filling his
body and mind.

Introducing an All New Epic Saga from the creator of Red Revenge!

Prologue-

The girl backed up into the alley wall, the three thugs closing in on her.

"HELP! SOMEONE HELP!" she yelled.

The three guys cackled. "This isn't Gotham City or Metropolis, little girl." one of the guys said. "No superheroes to save you now."

"I wouldn't be too sure about that." a voice said.

The girl and the three guys looked up at the rooftop where a familiar figure stood, cape billowing.

"Ah, crap." one of the guys said.

He tried to run away, but the caped hero flew in front of him and threw him into his buddies. The three...

I woke to everything that seemed wrong. That's when I realized it was wrong because it was the same as I had seen for 4 years straight. Blue walls and mirrored closet. I started to panic, and I tried to jump out of the bed. That's when I realized that my arms were tied to the bed with rope like iron. And when I tried to burn the stuff off there was no response from my powers. "What the-"

She pulled out her cell phone and typed an urgent message to her boyfriend.
Becca: Change of plans. Meet you in thirty.
She immediately got a reply back.
Robin: You got it.

TITANS TOWER

“Robin? Robin?”
He junior caped crusader looked up from working on his bike. Starfire floated by him and she seemed on edge. They had just beaten one the newer villains, someone called Giocare. He had been hard to get to since his mastery of gameplay. Giocare had been able to take any object and create a giant game out of it. To say this villain was easy was a lie. The fifteen year old peace disturber had challenged the Titans to a large game of life. If you lost...your burial would be quick. Thankfully, none of them had died. But they were still on edge.
“What is it Starfire?”...
