Loud knocks woke me up from my sleep. I figured I would just ignore them.
"Jenny?" called a male voice from behind the door.
"Go away, Chris," I moaned. I pressed my back against the door so he wouldn't try to open it.
"It's me." It was the voice I would recognize anywhere, even in the grave.
I was wondering how it would sound like down there. "What do you want?"
"Can you move away from the door?" Damn, he knew everything.
I sighed and crawled away from the door and leaned against the frame of Anna's bed.
Red Arrow came inside and closed the door behind him. "Jen, I can't bear to see you like this."
I rolled down my sleeves. "You mean, "I can't bear to see a person who almost destroyed an entire city", right?"
He rolled his eyes and sat down next to me. "I can help you, you just need to listen."
I closed my eyes. "No. I'm not going out there."
"Look, it wasn't your fault. You were possessed by Ra's Al-Ghul, remember?"
I cringed, remembering. "If I were a REAL superhero, I would've had the conscious to stop myself. I can't risk that again."
That night was so clear in my mind. I remembered Ra's Al-Ghul's spell; every single word. I could remember the frightened faces of Gotham City's citizens as I destroyed their homes, their buildings...
Their lives.
Red put an arm around my shoulder. "The team is suffering, you know. They know you're depressed and lonely."
I clutched the bloody piece of glass I hid behind my back. "I'm not depressed. I'm just mad at myself."
"For three weeks?" he questioned.
A drop of blood rolled off my arm and splattered on the floor.
He looked at me suspiciously, and took my arm. I didn't even bother stopping him. He rolled up my sleeves, revealing the bloody word, "PERFECT" scratched into my arm.
"Oh my God..." he stared into my eyes, horrified.
I rolled them back down. "It didn't hurt as much," I said quickly. "It's hard to hurt myself nowadays."
"Jeannette, you've got to stop this," he ordered.
"I can't," I admitted. "It's become a routine. I could even do it in my sleep."
He squeezed my hand. "Please. For me?" he begged.
I glared at him. "Why should I? I don't even know your godforsaken name."
That seemed to cut it. He took off his mask, showing glowing green eyes, and pressed his lips to mine. I threw my arms around his neck, not wanting to let go.
And though it lasted only five minutes, it felt like a light was shown upon my face. I couldn't think about anything else, only the fact that I needed him more anything.
"Jen--" he choked.
I loosened my grip, figuring he couldn't breathe.
"Roy," he said finally, after a few breaths.
"What?"
"Roy Harper," he continued. "That's my name."
"Roy." It seemed to fit him perfectly. "Nice name."
He smiled. "Now that we've had our first kiss, would you take a walk with me?"
I groaned. "Fine. But a short one. And I'll be wearing a disguise." I didn't want a mob chasing after the most hated hero in Gotham.
He laughed. "Whatever."

Hello! This is an article I have written about how there HAS to be a Young Justice season 3, and at the end of the article I'll tell you how you can help convince the people on the show that to many people love it to not make a season 3.
1. All the cliffhanger, okay so if you haven't watched the end of season 2 where have you been? But basically there were so many cliffhangers
2. If you have not seen the end of season 2 go watch it right because this is a BIG spoiler, Wally dies, and a season 3 would allow him to return, it has happed in the comics before.
3. To many people love it and are mad at not having a season 3
okay now I will tell you how you can convince cartoon network/netflix that there HAS to be a season 3.
use the #RenewYoungJustice and use this everywhere
binge watch it on netflix
buy it on dvd
by any merch of it you can find
If you have any other ideas on how to get them to make a season 3 or why they should pls comment!
