Brain Fart!! Need Ideas!!

I think you should make your main character go to save her friend, only to find him under somesort of mindcontroll, and the only way to brake it is to do something really hard. what it is is up to you.I know when I read, I always love a good mystery, or some drama X3 Also suspense is really good.
