Sorry about this, these new guys are actually kind of important. It'll make more sense when Miss Ashy gets up off her lazy bum and writes more Chasing Shadows... but for now...
Name: Alyssa ‘Lyss’ Blithe Lestrade
Alias: Fortune
Age: 15
Physical Features: 5’11”, 135 lbs, dark brown/black curly hair, grey/blue/green eyes, calloused hands, slightly dirty but rounded out fingernails, small burn on left palm
Civilian Clothing: white button up shirt, electric blue skinny jeans, tannish/khaki overcoat, black heels, hair in bun or low ponytail, occasionally has reading glasses
Costume: full black bodysuit with green highlights, white overcoat, black heeled boots, hologram gloves, green visor, hair in high ponytail
Abilities: guns (usually two handguns, but on occasions she’ll have a shotgun), lock picking, some hacking skills.
*Her main ability is strategy. She’s incredibly smart, usually able to deduct what a person has been doing for the last 15 hours just by a single glance.*
Personality:
Alyssa’s rather egotistical and a show-off. She’s been told many times by her sisters and a couple of friends, but she’s been aware of this ever since she was younger. As she got older she became more open and nicer to some people, but otherwise she’s extremely rude and tries her best to stick her nose into other people’s business. There is exactly one week every year where she is nothing but quiet and solemn, refusing to deduct or smart mouth anyone. No one exactly knows the reason behind this. She’s really stubborn when you mention her brother, actually, she’s just stubborn in general.
She gets excited when people bring up hard mysteries, like triple homicides in a locked room or a kid who was missing for 10 years and there is no trail to follow. She doesn’t exactly understand the importance of holidays, but she doesn’t exactly mind them. When she’s drunk she’s loud and really obnoxious. When she’s bored, she’ll whine for hours on end, occasionally venting her deductions at someone and yelling (or shooting) at the wall.
Background:
Alyssa’s british, born and raised in London until she was 10. She lived with her sister, Sheryl, and her brother, Mike. Sheyrl was once threatened with her husband’s life, so she promised that as long as her husband wasn’t harmed, she would kill herself. Sheryl did so, and Alyssa moved to the U.S. with Mike to avoid ever being threatened again. Three years later Sheryl reappeared, proclaiming herself ‘not dead yet,’ and the family was back together again. However, because of this, Alyssa was struck with hysterical blindness for the three years of her life. She did get over it, and swore never to let anything like that happen again.
Alyssa was actually a stillborn. The reason she’s still alive is because she was cursed back into existence, shocking her parents, who didn’t know the reason for her sudden revival. Something told her that she had a purpose in life, and when the time came she’d have to ‘rekindle a fire’ in order to ‘keep forever strong.’ She still isn’t exactly sure what that means, but she has a small scar/symbol as a mark of her curse on her left hand.
Notes:
-born left-handed, but taught herself to become ambidextrous because using her left palm sometimes burned
-deathly afraid of hights. When Sheryl jumped, it only made the fear worse
-because of her three blind years, her other senses were heightened slightly. Some people think she has super hearing because of how well she can hear, but it’s nothing compared to Superboy’s
-she plays the violin. Occasionally she composes her own pieces.
-she likes reading poetry, Shakespeare, and The Illiad
-fluent in French, Latin, and Russian
-occasionally listens to rock songs and electronic, but she’s more prone to indie and classical music
-she learned how to shoot from her uncle, who served some time in the military
-her knife throwing abilities come from her brother’s bodyguard
-the smarts run in the family
-Tea. TEA. If she’s gone insane, if she’s angry, bored, if she’s shooting off deductions at the speed of sound-- the answer is always good tea. Four sugars, with milk.

Greg Weissman, creator of Young Justice and The Amazing Spiderman confirmed that Issue 25 of the Young Justice Comic-book tie-in is cancelled at long last. Issue 25, introducing Deadshot, Braniac, etc. will be the final issue of the comic book tie-in series.
In other news, Cartoon Network has still not released a statement on why DC Nation was so abruptly cancelled and whether the animated series will actually continue or not.
Cartoon Network signs "half-season" contracts with DC Comics. They have confirmed three have been signed. Season 1, episodes 1-13. Season 1, 14-26. Season 2, 1-10. The remaining ten episodes of Season 2 are completely finished and ready for airing, however, DC has to sign a contract with CN for the remainder of the season to be aired. If the contract fails, the episodes will most likely be released on DVD.
No official reply statement from Greg Weissman or Brandon Vietti yet.

The final sneak peek for the fifth book in the Red Revenge/ DC Comics crossover series.
“No.” Revenge breathed. He ran over to the two girl’s bodies, kneeling next to them. Police sirens screamed around the corner and slid to a halt in the road. Several dozen officers filed out and all pointed their guns at Red Revenge.
“FREEZE!”
Revenge didn’t move.
“HANDS UP! NOW!”
Revenge slowly raised his hands in surrender.
“MASK OFF!”
Revenge didn’t move.
“NOW!!!”
“You should’ve left that last part off.” Red Revenge said, still not moving. Then in one quick blur, he shot a dagger into the road and it exploded, spraying smoke everywhere. Revenge grabbed one of the girls and ran, police firing into the smoke.

Scott sat on the couch, scribbling on a piece of paper across from Danny
"Dude. You going to bed? It's like three o'clock in the morning." Danny got and walked to his room,
"Yeah. In a minute." Scott got up, setting the paper aside and flipped off the light. He sighed and walked into his room, pulling off his shirt. Scott fell face first on the bed, sprawled across and smothering his face in the pillows. He curled up under the covers and grabbed the black stuffed cat that was sitting on his night stand. He petted the animal and cuddled against it. "I miss you." He cuddled up against it, kissing its head. Scotty smiled, "It does really look just like you Cat." he pulled the stuffed animal closer and fell asleep.
It's short, BUT SO CUTE!!!
