I generally wouldnt feel right letting someone else take my characters and my story and finish it their way. I mean maybe if it was someone who knew the story as well as I and the plans then maybe, but otherwise no.

I would rather have it never have an ending then have someone else finish it.

If I like their writing style and I trust them to do justice to the work, and I'm sure I'll never actually want to come back to it. I might have a little trouble letting them have complete freedom over the work though. I'm not sure.

sure but you have to take my story its about a boy who likes this girl named jenna . one day he told her that a few days later she scratched him on mistka and he never liked her agien but he forgot that so one day he started talking to her so I'm the girl but my name is not jenna its charlie

When I don't want to finish a story, I abandon it but I NEVER delete it completely. That would be so many good ideas flushed down the toilet. SO if eventually you get the irking to write a story a long time down the road, you can always pick it back up, or use it for inspiration for your new stories.

Leave it in the dark for a while... but I'd never let anybody take my hard work!
