Chapter 1
MICKEY lay on her bed. Starting school was hard enough. Starting in a new school in a different state was even harder. She'd always had trouble making friends. They thought she was a freak. Her long brown hair went to her shoulders. Her blue eyes looked sad and hard. Her pale skin caused people to think she was a vampire. THus causing a lack of friends. She'd been kicked out of every school she went to. If something as small as graffiti in the girls restroom got blamed on her. She didn't like wearing pink fluffy skirts and hoe-like shirts. She wore ripped up jeans and t-shirts. ANd finger-less gloves. And tattered old dirty black converse hi-tops. She wanted a friend who was like she was. Not a stupid stereo type populairily prone cheerleader. They were stupid. But not this year this year was different. If she'd known then she could have stopped her grieving all her pain. She could have saved her father, her sister, her life, her friends, her world. Magic caused all this, magic gave her a curse, a curse that couldn't be cured. The curse of being a sorsoress.
