kateliness2, of course she sounds like a witch, Smeyer makes all her decent characters like that (eg. Leah, Rosalie, Jessica, Jacob...). I don't think it had been years, maybe one, but not several. Think about it this way, how would you feel if the man you loved decided one day that he's actually in love with your cousin, who is like a sister to you, and is unceremoniously dumping you for her because they're "destined for each other". Why would you want to be friends with him after that? She has a right to be angry with him, he did leave her.

Anyway, I'm rambling now. I just think there's a lot more to Leah than what we see.
