jacob's my favorite character, i don't understand how people can hate him

i really dont hate him. but i do dislike him cuz i was so angry that bella fell in love with him when edward left. i mean, i know she was trying to be happy and move on, but still. i have a big soft spot in my heart for edward. so of course i disliked the jacob and bella deal. and then when edward was back and jacob caused all the problems, i really disliked him. but i dont hate him.

people can hate Jacob just by saying " i HATE Jacob!" .. just like i did...right up there... lol.. i don't hate him though i just don't like him 4 all of his stupidly childish routines!!! ugh .. it just gets me mad!!!

I totally agree with Gabitha.
He is a great best friend to Bella and saved her when she was broken. I just think that for a lover Edward is better for Bella.

I don't get why people hate him... I love Edward, but I still think that Jake is a great guy. Now if you wanna talking about someone I hate... BELLA!!!!! I HATE- H-A-T-E - HER!!!

Are they saying that if killing Jacob meant that they would end up dead, then they would do it? Is that some kind of suicide/death wish thing? wow, it totally confused me when I read it

He's a blackmailer who doesn't have ANY respect for the person who he claims to love. I also don't think that he loves her, he's got this sick thing where it's like he almost wants to own her. If he truly loved her then would respect her feelings and be happy that she happy and NEVER show his face again! But you and I both know he's not going to do that.

cheergeek, if you really read all the things jacob says and does (especially in eclipse) you will see that he is just a selfish jerk

The first time I read New Moon, I was like, why does she even like Jake? The second time, I was like OK, I get it, the third time, I was just like Bella...I was in love withhim, but not near enough, and nowhere near as much as Edward, and now I cry every time I read the books, bcause I ralized I love him, and I know that he has to leave.

And yes, I have read the Twilight series MANY times.
Twilight: 9 times.
New Moon: 13 times.
Eclipse[my favorite!]: 27 times.

Jacob is the very best character. He made the entire series for me.
