It depends on what your taste is really. I think each book of the series has its own element. New Moon will bring sadness, but it's essential and completely different from Twilight. But overall, it's a pretty great book.

And if this is the first time you're reading the series, which I'm guessing you are, if you don't want to be spoiled, then be careful reading the comments here. Some people may spoil it for you.

Well. I think New Moon is pretty good. Haven't finished yet....but you will find yourself missing someone, and I'm not saying who. Buy it and you'll love it.

New moon is a great book, you have to read it, and I'm sure u'll love it! Eclipse tho in my opinion is still the best book but New moon is probably my second!

It really is good, it can be sad at times and all. You may not be hooked with a snap of fingers but it's good. You probaly wil enjoy it.
But make sure you read the books in order or it's just confusing!
