Jacob doesn't really see himself of being a monster. He just wishes that he were human so it were easier to be with Bella. But so does Edward. He wishes that he oculd be human for her. And no, I don't get annoyed with Edward's self-loathing. I do happen to get annoyed at Jacob though.

I think Jacob does view himself as a monster to an extent. He certainly doesn't think he's normal. But no it never annoys me, but now you mention it, it's quite funny that only them two do. And if even Jacob annoyed me, which he doesn't at all, this poll has nothing to do with that.

I do, i mean the rest of the Cullens don't have a problem with their existence except for rose, and that's because she wanted to have a kid and raise them which she wasn't able to do, but she got to live her dream through Bella. Jake gets tiring to, as he says the rest of the pack view what they are as a gift, the only one with a problem at first was Sam and that's cause he didn't know what was going on after he was fine.

Well, it's not just Edward and Jacob. Jacob says that most of the boys feel bad about the wolf thing, and in Midnight Sun Edward is not the only one wishing to be human: "We both knew that Rosalie would do anything, give up anything, if it meant she could be human again. Even Emmett."

Yeah but once after BD she's fine it would seem, and well the only ones in the pack Jake ever says have a problem is him, Sam, and Leah, and Leah is because she lost Sam to Emily, Sam it was only when he first changed, he even tells Bella he's the only crybaby of the pack.

I can understand the burden of being a vampire. Its like the only way you can die is to be ripped apart and burned to death. Doesn't exactly sound pleasant.
Jacobs all "I want you Bella but its just so hard to be me". Stop complaining. You know you're going to imprint on someone and grow old and die after a long sucessful life so cut the complaining crap.

... Well, I think the Cullens are aware that they are 'monsters', hence they are 'vegetarians' and believe it is wrong to harm humans. Their kind kill humans and they've gone seriously out of their way to make sure they aren't like that - hunting innocent human lives. As for the wolf guys, I'm not sure they think themselves as 'monsters' as such, because they don't harm people - they protect people.
However, I guess Edward and Jacob feel most strongly about what they are... Jacob wishes he were human again because things were a lot simpler. And the werewolf V vampire thing kind of gets in the way in his friendship with Bella. Edward... I guess he's always reminding himself what he could do to Bella... he could kill her in an instant by accident.
Neither of them annoy me when they 'whine' about what they are (especially Jacob - I love 'im).

Edward is just as 'whiny' as Jacob about it, if not more. He's alwyas calling himself a monster.
