i know she wasn't meaning to, but she was hurting both jacob and edward by (and i take this from the book) trying to force jacob's bella and edward's bella together. and she was right, she never should've tried. she did a lot of damage in eclipse, that's why i like her least in that book.

^^ I agree. The thing is, as soon as Edward came back, she threw herself all over him. She wanted him back. Jacob wasn't even under consideration anymore... yet she taunted him with her heart, and even though she knew it was breaking him, she kept him around so she could have her best friend. Thats not fair. "Her Jacob" and "the other Jacob" are the same Jacob, just 2 different sides of him. She was always wanting everything perfect, yet she made the choice not to be with him. And she told him that repeatedly, than got his hopes up with a kiss, than ended it. Than she wanted him around constanly in Breaking Dawn... that's just not fair. That is why I think that when it comes to her "selflessness" it only comes down to talk. She can talk and think selfless, but she never actually proves it with her actions. Al lthe decisions she makes come down only to what is best for her.

It's not like she said to herself 'Right, who can I hurt today?'
I know she didn't act... right, but still...

its true she did throw herself all over him...she can be selfish and greedy its actually sad what shes doing

it wasn't fair that she kept Jacob at arms length. she should of let Jacob go.

i agree becuase she was hurting edward the most by trying to keep jacob too
