I think though that Charlie did have a good reason for overeating think about it he left her in the middle of the forest by herself and its Bella she could get lost, but on the other hand Bella knows Edward and he would never lie to her so when he said that he loved her and would never leave her again Charlie should trust her and he also makes her happy. But i think that Charlie was overeating just a little he could have been calmer.

I think he was just being a good parent. He cares about Bella a lot and is concerned for her.

As much as I love Edward and have forgiven him for this, I would understand why her father would be so upset. I mean, especially coming from his POV (someone who isn't even an EC lover!!) he must be pretty pissed to bring her back 2 days after she just ran away without any proper goodbye to save HIS life when HE left HER devestated and depressed for like ever... and to have him just waltz right in to her life would make me pissed off too, if I were a parent.

I can see why Charlie was concerned but its all so bella's choice.

even though edward didnt really leave bella off the track or far from the house but you can totally understand why he was pissed

As a responsible father, i think charlie did the right thing. not that i support him but i think he just cares for bella considering everything she has gone through... IT'S NOT LIKE THAT CHARLIE IS ABLE TO STOP EDWARD ANYWAY...

i would be the same way if i had a kid and someone did that to them, since he doesnt know the whole story, all he knows is that edward really hurt her
