The reason I ask is because I know that the book was meant for teenagers but the day I bought Eclipse the cashier lady (about 60 or so) started rambling on about how much she loved the saga and how much she loved Edward(HILARIOUS). So it got me thinking that maybe there is this whole unknown fanbase of older, senior, woman who love the series. My other example is my english teacher was telling us (she's pretty close to retirement as well... she's reaching 65) started explaining how in love she was with the series as well, and urging us to read it, same with my librarian.
Anyways, I think that anyone over the age 13 (because it is probably a difficult read for anyone under unless they're really smart... I'm not so I probably wouldn't be able to read it if I was 10 or something LOL) reads it... I think it captures interest of all ages. Just wondering what you thought.

When I read it I was 12.

i read the series in 1 week when i was 12. two of my best friends, who were 10 and 11 also read them and loved them. my 45 year old mom loves them. my 14 & 15 year old friends love them. as long as they are mature, and can handle the language and romance, i think any person should read them.

I read twilight when I wuz 12 but then finished the reat of the series when i wuz 13 and my mom is 31 and she is readin it.(plz dnt give me crap about puttin my moms age, plz)

I was 14 when i read twilight && new moon. the funny thing is i read new moon on september 13th.
Then i turned 15 when i read eclipse and breaking dawn.
because my bday is sept. 15th

I know a lot of girls my age (12) who are reading this and even some younger... but the boys start getting interested at about 13+ so idk, i guess it really depends.

i just recenly read all the books, im 18, i think the twilight readers range from a lot of different age groups becaue the story is truly one of a kind, and it touches your heart..

Im 32 years old and I've read all four books and enjoyed all of them. They are great books.
