Definitely. I cannot begin to imagine how he felt seeing his child in that state. My mum always told me that one of the worst things that a parent can witness is their child being upset, and since Bella was out of it for several months I guarantee that Charlie (as well as Renee) felt pretty useless, like it was completely out of his control and he could do nothing to help her.
