LOL. :) Imprinting is about being whatever the object of your love needs from you in that stage of their life, just like Quil and Claire. Right now, Quil plays with her and babysits her and stuff like that, but nothing creepy...just like Jacob isn't sitting in the forest having sexual fantasies about Renesmee. He will be her protector and her friend and everything she needs, until it's appropriate for there to be more...just like with any other relationship. It's getting to be an exhausting thing, so thanks for explaining it LMAO People seem to forget two very important descriptions that Jacob gave in Eclipse: 1. like a mother seeing her newborn 2. like a blind man seeing the sun for the first time There is SO nothing sexual or even remotely romantic about these stages of imprinting and I get annoyed when people automatically think there is some romantic connotation there. sigh posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago

	tiz picked YES!! What the heck???: It wasn't Jacob's fault, and in some ways I was happy for him, but he was like in control of Renesmee.. It was Bella and Edward's baby, and I didn't like that he already felt like he owned Renesmee.. (they were secretly planning the trip without Jacob, and who is Jacob to say that he gets to come along on their family trip when Renesmee is only a few months old.) So I was a little mad that Jacob imprinted in the respect that he always had to be with Renesmee even if he couldn't help it. posted over a year ago.
