This is my first fanfiction so I need you to be honest and tell me what you think!
I dont own Twilight or any of it's characters.
My mother kissed my forehead softly, “You know sweetie, you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to.” Her eyes bored into mine and for a second I actually considered staying in Phoenix. But I knew Phil would be going on the road soon, and I also knew how hard it was for Renee to be away from her new husband. I didn’t want that.
“Mom for the last time I want to!” I replied, putting on the best brave smile I could manage, smiling was just so much effort these days.
“Are you sure honey? Because I swear you can stay here, in Phoenix if you want to.”
I smiled at her, I was really going to miss my loving erratic hairbrained mother, and her new husband Phil, but they wanted to go on the road, and who was I to stop my mother from being happy?
The plane ride was quiet. I never allowed myself to cry, I wasn’t going to put myself through that, it hurt just too much to think about what I was leaving behind, the heat, the sun, it was all too much to bear.
Charlie was waiting for me at the airport.
“Bella,” He greeted me fondly, kissing the top of my head.” I smiled at him, baring as much teeth as was possible. I needed Charlie to think I was happy if anything.
“Hi Ch-Dad,” I said grimacing, I had to remember to call him dad, I knew he didn’t like when I called him Charlie.
“I’m glad to have you here Bella,” he stared down at the floor as he spoke. Charlie, just like me, wasn’t good with emotion.
“Thanks Dad, I’m glad to be here” I said back, mimicing his actions.
We drove home in silence. It was a 30 minute drive from the airport to the small town of Forks where I was now living. Forks is a small town in Washington covered by a near constant cover of clouds. It rained here more than anywhere in the States. The fact that it was raining now didn’t encourage me, though I knew it wasn’t a bad omen.
When we pulled up outside the house it struck me how similar it was, nothing had really changed since the last time I’d been here 4 years ago. The outside was still a faded white, in desperate need of repainting, the inside was also still the same. The kitchen was still that shade of yellow, and my room was still the exact same. The only difference was that a desk with a nice looking computer had been added. Clearly Charlie had read up on teenagers in my generation. There was also only one bathroom. One bathroom to be shared with Charlie. I sat down on my bed glumly, staring out the window. What have I condemned myself to? I thought. But I wouldn’t let the tears come. Not now anyway.
I didn’t realise I had fallen asleep until I was awoken by the sound of a horn honking in the driveway. Avoiding anything that I could possibly trip over I rushed down the stairs to see what the excitement was. As I burst through the front door I saw two things at once. First, the awful but beautiful faded red truck in the drive, and second my old friend Jacob Black.
“Jacob!” I screeched grabbing him in a hug.
“Hi Bella,” he beamed looking down on me. He had grown quite a bit since the last time I saw him.
“Jeez Jake you been taking growth spurt pills?” I teased, punching him lightly in the arm.
“Nah Bells, I just grew.” He grinned sheepishly.
Staring at a familiar face I tried to believe that tomorrow. My first day at a new school, wouldn’t be so hard. Hope filled by body.
“Hey Jake, you need a ride to school tomorrow?” I hoped the desperation I heard in my voice wasn’t quite so clear to him.
“Sure sure, I’ll get one of the guys over at La Push to drop me over in the morning”. I smiled at him. Having Jake around was sure going to make school a whole lot easier.
I was wrong. Having him around didn’t make it easier at all. The kids all stared at me as if I had 10 heads, and every class I went to the kids would turn around in their seats to get a good look at the new girl. When lunch time came I was terrified. Where would I sit? Who would I sit with? My hands shook as I carried my tray from the line. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Jacob waving. With a sigh of relief I speed walked across to join him.
“Bella!” he beamed staring up at me, “ sit with us! This is Leah. And that’s Sam and Embry and Paul and Jared. And that there’s Quil. “
I sat down close beside him, hoping he would protect me from the rest of the kids. Underneath the table I felt a sudden pressure as a big warm hand entwined with mine. Looking up at Jake I found him smiling at me. I smiled back. Maybe this wasn’t going to be as bad as I thought.
The rest of the day was hard. I did meet this one kid, Mike, who seemed really nice. He offered to walk me to gym, which I accepted since I had nowhere to go. He had sandy blonde hair and a slight remainder of puppy fat. He wasn’t bad looking though. I could tell why girls were staring as we walked.
As usual gym was awful. I had always been bad at gym. Even when I was a little girl and my mom used to make me do ballet. I was always crashing into people and failing miserably at dancing. Anything that involved moving was definitely a hazard for me, clumsy seemed to run in my family.
After school Jacob was waiting for me by my car. I brightened up slightly seeing him there, his smile warm and welcoming.
“How was your first day?” he asked staring down at me with much more intensity that was necessary.
“Fine,” I answered staring right back. That Mike Newton kid seems nice. Jacob’s brow furrowed.
“Yeah I suppose Mike’s a good guy.” His mood seemed to fall, just the slightest bit
“ I dunno, guess so,” I answered . Before I realised what was happening Jacob’s face was just a few inches from mine.
“Bella,” he whispered softly.
I closed my eyes and waited for the feel of his lips on mine.

"It shocked me.I was not sure if she meant to attack. That's the only interpretation of her behavior that my past had to offer. But she was smiling. And the emotions that were emanating from her were like nothing I'd ever felt before.
"'You've kept me waiting a long time,'she said."
I didn't realize Alice had come to stand behind me again.
"And you ducked your head like a good Southern gentleman, and said,'I'm sorry ma'am.'"Alice laughed at the memory.
Jasper smiled down at her."You held out your hand, and I took it without stopping to make sense of what I was doing. For the first time in almost a century,I felt hope."
Jasper took Alice's hand as he spoke.
Alice grinned."I was just relieved.I thought you were never going to show up."
it is just MY opinion...
i think it was very well done thinking of it just as a movie you know it wont ever be exactly like the book ... or with such many detailz
things i loved:
*the humor they use (for example bella: if things end bad like i would become the meal) haha
*alice ! the character is very well portrayed
*the end ( victoria watching)
*the baseball game!
*men cast haha =P
*stephenie meyer appearing wooow!
things that dissapointed me:
* the clearing ! i dont liked the sparkling effect ...
*it was really fast everything
*alice's story was missing ...
things that were wrong: (i didnt noticed until the third time i saw it)
*billy was driving !
*when edward is playing th e piano for bella he didnt sparkle
*victoria appears in the prom in the crowd (edward would read her thoughtz)
but i like it anyway ! it ir TWILIGHT !

While visiting “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” for an episode that airs this Friday — the same day Pattinson’s vampiric portrayal of Edward Cullen springs to life on the big screen, he denied having romantic ties to anyone.
“Now, are you single?” Ellen asked.
“Ah, yeah,” the British actor replied.
And it appears despite women throwing themselves at him regularly, Pattinson may be stuck in singleton mode permanently.
“No one else seems to get into a relationship with me. It’s really strange,” he told Ellen.
“People like screaming at me,” the heartthrob added. “Actually, they like screaming at me in relationships as well. No one wants to commit.”
okay, so, all these people are complaining about Bella's Lullaby. I heard, "Bella's Lullaby sucked in my opinion" or "The strings and the orchestra weren't supposed to be in the song" or "They need to cut out the orchestra cuz it sucked with that in it". Just stuff like that which is disrespectful to Summit, Carter Burwell, and all the people associated with the project. People don't need to say such rude comments about it.
and in my opinion, this is the soundtrack. obviously they are gonna put the score they have that goes with the movie's music. It can't just be a random piece that doesn't fit in with the rest of the score. that's just what pisses me off. when people judge something too quickly without laying down all the facts.
