Meeting Robert Pattinson at HOT TOPIC in San Francisco is cancelled.

If you are heading for San francisco to meet Robert Pattinson.It is cancelled permanently.Hot Topic had confirmed that it is cancelled.Robert pattinson's PR called into cancelled because they were afraid of ROBERT's safety.They also said that Rob was freakin out when he saw the news on channel 4 after his PR called him and that's when he decided that he won't do the signing.The mob wouldn't die down even with the cops that was at the scenes.The issue that could be prevent was because the mismanagement between Hot Topic and the mall security.Many witness have seen people getting hurt by being run over and being push into the mall entrance.One girl got hurt badly with a split lips and another young girl had an asthma attacked.

Sadly a lot of people who flew from different part are sad and dissapointed.All because of the scenes cause by the mob.Even with SFPD they couldn't handle the scenes.It was all because a simple thing that need to be done but was ignored thinking that the number won't be an issue. Hot Topic are now only selling just the shirt and not the Tag that was suppose to guarantee you to get the signing.Many people are still expecting that they will change their mind on the cancellation.Any more info please contact Hot Topic.I believed that every where else that have signing is still fine but this will give them a better idea on how Teenage girls are around ROBMANIA.

0524wes08 THanks for posting this up Curlytop.I was there and people are freakin crazy.

EliNicole i WAS there and it wasnt as bad as what this says... IT WAS WORSE. i talked to security after and found out it was horrible. first we had the people who tried to stay in a RV from texas....did they not see that edward was going to be in texas tomorrow? then there was the people forming so early a mom took in to herself to start a list of names and numbering people, which was thorwn out the door since she was not athorized to do so. and then the screaming and running started. people started running towards the front of the mall while a man from hot topic was on a mega phone telling everyone to form A LINE, and then thats when people were screaming and yelling. then two lines were formed which then the police got involved. the two lines were formed into one....then we had to turn into a long double up line so we had to push back the line yet the mob didnt want to move from the front, thats when we found out a purse was stolen, a visa card was stolen, shoes were being thorwn, parents were yelling, ids were screaming, then the girl got her nose broken. AND THEN thats when we heard there was a little girl stuck in the mob whou couldnt breathe and passed out and the mob wasnt letting the ambulance or ANYONE get to her ...NO ONE HELPED HER! so then that was the final straw, but no one left easily. lots waited till the police got involved and told EVERYONE to leave. . . but then the mall finally got open and the running started...the same thing happened at hot topic and a long line formed down the mall to go into hot topic to buy stuff... yet the staff said they were not going to sell those shirts. also shoes were being thorwn and a girls neck was cut up do to peope in the mob trying to pull others back ...they pulled on her necklace cutting her neck up. its insane and im glad it was cancelled. i stood in the line and witnessed the worst of the female fans, and their parents! The mob was mostly full of the younger crowd and guess how many of their parents just stood by watching??? like 40!! just WATCHING! none of the parents helped! i was so disappointed in the fans that didnt listen to simple requests! if they would have listened and their parents were responsible the meet and greet might still be on! thanks for your time Eli Nicole, Vallejo Ca

0524wes08 That was exactly what happen but what is the point in saying that.Knowing that they all ruined the best thing for people who was civilized and did what the security and the cops asked.They could of been civilized but not even the parent could.

EliNicole ITS UNCANCELLED! i just got off the phone with the hot topic manager and its still on! no joke...i saw that it was on line already and called and it is still going on

0524wes08 I know,I founfd that out after making like 100 phone calls.I had written another article about that.I am so hurt and dissapointed .I mean I have never been so bummed until now.

PleezMom Wow, I just had to tell my daughter that the event was BACK ON after we walked away this morning when the event was supposedly cancelled. Ditto all the comments about the lack of planning and total delusion of Hot Topic/Mall staff re: size of expected crowd. I guess those fans who hung around all day were ultimately rewarded and I don't know if I'm contemptuous or just jealous. My daughter was in tears but I guess the lesson learned is LIFE IS NOT FAIR. Seems to me Hot Topic owes lots of fans an apology. I drove over from the East Bay but I can't imagine being one of the people who drove halfway across the state or even came in from out of state and then hear on the news that he is going to be there after all :(

0524wes08 Yeah I know and after all of the drama this morning they could have make it easy for everyone by planning it carefully.I mean did anyone remember LEOMANIA!It was a disaster in one of the mall that he was supposed to go and promote TITANIC.I seriously think that we should all make Hot Topic apologize for all this confusion.

EliNicole i think hot topic should inform everyone that the list they heard of had nothing to do with hot topic and that all the confusion and the whole rushing the doors because of it would have been avoided if people would just let them do their jobs and that they are sorry for the confusion and that things didnt go smoothly and that next time they will be more prepared...watch now they are going to copy and paste my lil speech i made for them

0524wes08 The door rushing was caused by that Mall security guy.He was the one who told everyone to run.I am not sure why he did that.He actually had no idea why we were out there until he'd call the Manager from Hot Topic.Grant it that the list had nothing to do with the signing but it was some what made sense than running to get crushed by number of people.I agreed that Hot Topic could deal with this better next time but I am not sure if they are going to have it next time.

0524wes08 I totally agreed.If they failed than you know that it's the Head quarter of Hot Topic.We were the first so I think that it was bad idea from the begining.
