10th chapter Meeting
Esme
"It's good to see you too, Aro" Carlisle stepped in front of us and I wished so much that we could just take our kids and run far far away from this place.
"Well, isn't it wonderful that there is no threat this time?" Aro was joyful and Carlisle smiled too, though I knew it was an artificial smile. How are we going to hide our secret from him if he decides to touch one of us? "Oh Alice, I'm so happy to have a chance to see you again. I guess you didn't change your mind about joining us?"
"Thank you but no" Alice answered calmly, again I could see her anxiety.
"Too bad... I would love to have you in my little family" he sighed still smiling and then Jane came in.
"Master Aro" her voice was careful.
"Yes, Jane?" he was in a good mood and that encouraged her to come closer, she looked pretty scared.
"Few other guests has also arrived" she whispered and Aro took her hand. Whatever she was thinking or who that guests were made him frown.
"I'm so sorry, but I'll have to leave you for a while. Carlisle, my friend, you still remember how beautiful Volterra is? Maybe you could give your family a tour while I'll be busy?"
"Yes, of course. I'd love to do that" Carlisle sounded relieved and I knew why - maybe will be able to see Nick and others again?
"That's wonderful! See you soon again" Aro stretched his hand and I froze. Emi said it's dangerous if they'll find out... Carlisle hesitated for a second and shook it. Surprise lit on Aro's face and he laughed. Did he realize that it wasn't our fault?
"Bella, sometimes I let myself forget how talented you are"
Bella? Of course! She used her shield to protect Carlisle's thoughts. I held a sigh, Bella simply smiled.
When Aro left, we shared the same concerned and impatient look. Afton led us to the exit and we went into dark night of Volterra hoping to see our kids again.
"Where we should go first?" Emmett asked impatiently.
"I don't know..." Carlisle wavered and I hugged him around the waist.
"Let's split up and try to check as much city as we can" Jasper suggested but then a small tanned boy with black messy hair ran to us.
"Cullens?" he asked with Italian accent.
"Si. Noi siamo Cullens" Edward answered.
He pulled out an envelope and stretched it to him. Edward looked surprised (probably we all did) and took it.
"Grazie!" Edward thanked and the boy ran away without glancing behind. We all surrounded him and he opened an envelope - there was a short note.

"Do you think it's a trap?" Edward asked unsure.
"C'mon, Edward, Emi wrote this. Who else could? And she's definitely not going to put us in danger" Emmett frowned.
"But she left us. How can we be sure that it's safe to trust her?" Bella didn't looked convinced by Emmett's words.
"You heard what she said - they did this only to protect us!" Rosalie growled and Carlisle put hand on her shoulder.
"Rose, calm down" then he turned to Bella "We have no other choice. We have to try" and she nodded.
Finding that cafe wasn't very difficult, we got there at 10.45p.m. It was big place crowded with people but also there were many small separate rooms which could guarantee privacy. Alice gave to waitress a solid amount of cash and the girl reassured us that we won't be disturbed in the room we picked. As she left I start worrying - will Nick come? How they were treated here in Volterra? Will we be able to bring them back home? I didn't have much time to think cause soon the door opened and Emi came in gingerly. She wasn't wearing a cloak, only white T-shirts and black jeans. Rose stretched her arms and girl simply flew to her. I smiled feeling happy for Rose when I noticed that she wasn't alone. Another girl - tall, very thin with long curly black hair appeared. That was Jalley! She wasn't looking at us, she was talking quietly with someone behind... Nick! At first I jumper from happiness, he wasn't a small boy as I saw him last time, he was very tall and muscular man now. But appearance wasn't the only thing that has changed. His expression - angry and violent, scared me. What happened to him? What Volturi have done?
"Mom?" he asked disbelieving when our gazes finally met. I can't describe the feeling when I saw all the anger disappearing from his face, changing into happiness.
"Nick!" I started sobbing and he quickly ran to me and hugged tightly.
"Mom, mom, mom... I missed you so much. You can't believe how much I missed you!" he was crying too.
"Son" Carlisle greeted him shyly and Nick freed one hand to gave him a hug.
"Dad" he whispered. The three of us stayed in embrace for a few long minutes, can't help enjoying our reunion. Finally, Nick let us go. "What are you doing here?" he asked looking surprised.
"I think it's time for us to discuss some things" Jalley said sounding serious. We all turned to her.
"What exactly?"
"We have to discuss our plan how to get out of here. All of us. And most important - alive"

That night in Edwards arms I was sobbing. We heard a knock at the door. “Go away” Edward said. “Its me Jacob can I please come in Bella?”. Edward looked at me I just nodded. “Come in” Edward said. He just looked horrible I immediately said “sorry”. He said it was okay he was fine. He just wanted to see if I was okay and that Nessie wanted to talk to me. I was studying for the dartmouth finals when edward walked in and through my book across the room.the next thing i knew he was on top of me.you study to much he whispered in my ear his lips traced along my jaw and back up to my lips.then there was a knock on the door.go away alice!edward said angry.i pushed edward off me and sliped into my defenive crouch. its ok bella its just alice.no its not i said through my teeth then the door slamed down.a girl walked in and edward started screaming so i put my sheild around him and he stoped. who are you and what do you want!?!i asked hard.my name is jasmine im from olimpia.then i relaxed my crouch because i knew of olimpia.jasmine smiled your from olimpia to right.i nodded im a telapath just like you,am i correct.yes i said guilty.edwards eyes were confused and in shock.
