i turned to see Edward, holding a now sleeping baby, ahhh finally.
i released Tanna on the floor, where i saw a tear roll.

a chilled hand touched my wrist. it belonged to esme. She gestered her arms out for a hug. i sighed. i needed a hug. Esme was my mother in many ways.
