Chapter Seven (what will embry do?)
I gulped and nodded. She knew what she was doing. Didn’t she? She smiled then jerked forward on the bike, leaving me behind. I followed her quickly.
“Crap!” She yelled just before we got half way down the dust road. She screamed to a stop. I stopped just behind her.
“What is it?” I asked scanning her face.
“It’s those bloody ‘protectors’.” Her face was stony. “I was riding down here last week, and they told me to ‘pack it in or they’d stop me’.” She imitated Sam Uley’s voice. “They’re so weird. Sam Uley I think it was. I mean how can they stop me?” I laughed quietly. I knew exactly how they could stop her. They could turn into giant wolves and chase her away, or worse. I stared past her. Sam, Jared and Collin were just walking down on to the road.
“Wow!” Sam exhaled loudly, as she took them in. “They are ripped!”
“C’mon lets get out of here.” I mentally added before we get ripped to pieces. I gently pulled on her arm.
“Sure, sure just wait a sec…” She squinted towards the three figures. “Oh my god! Jared! He used to be my best mate then he went all… weird.” She had her eyes set on the figures. I caught her arm again my anger rising.
“Just come with me. You can talk to him later. Let’s go.” I tugged on her arm harder this time.
“No!” She snapped “No! I wanted you to get some attitude but not that much!” She shook her arm out of mine. “JARED!” She yelled at the top of her voice. I flinched. All three of the fingers heads snapped sideways to glare at us. At first they stared at Sam but then they saw me. They really glared at me, like I was the most horrible thing they’d ever seen. Except for Jared, he looked troubled. He’d been my friend when I was in Sam’s pack. I wondered what I done now.
I saw Collin narrow his eyes and begin to shake uncontrollably. Sam Uley put his hand on Collins chest to calm him down, and then started to walk towards us. Sam grinned to herself next to me, leaning back on her bike. I wondered whether her best friend ignoring her was her ‘pain’. The pain which had turned her into a completely mental, knows no fear, daredevil.
It took them less time than it should’ve to walk over to us, but Sam didn’t notice. She was staring at Jared; she hadn’t taken her eyes off him since she first recognised him. Was she wishing that he could’ve been more than just a best friend? I decided she probably did. He wouldn’t look at either of us; instead he stared off into the distance.
“Hello Samantha.” Sam said calmly, his face perfectly serene.
“Sam.” She acknowledged him; her jaw was jutting out slightly, her eyes as cold as stone.
“We would like to talk to Embry… alone” he emphasized the word.
Sam’s narrowed her eyes. They darted quickly from Sam to Jared, and then her face hardened. “Sure.” She said icily, turning to leave. She pecked me on the cheek quickly, before riding away. I flushed pink, and looked up at Sam. He watched her leave before turning to me.
“I suppose that Jake told you about your dad?” He said, it sounded more like a fact than a question.
“Yep” I nodded, my hair flicking in my eyes. I looked at my feet.
“Well it seems that someone told the whole of La Push that too.” Sam said calmly. Collin shot a hostile glare at me.
Sam continued “There have been a few disagreements in La Push since the council members found out this information…”
“A FEW DISAGREEMENTS?!?” Collin growled, his whole body shaking violently. His eyes blazed with fury, as he took a step towards me. It was then that I noticed just how much taller than me he was. I tentatively took a step back, pushing my bike back slowly too. “HE IS THE REASON OUR COUNCIL HAS FALLEN APART. HE’S THE REASON LA PUSH IS SPLITING INTO LITTLE PIECES!” Collin snarled his shape blurring.
“Collin, stop! You don’t want to hurt him Collin.” Sam assured him, calmly. Slowly the tremors slowed, and soon it was just his hands that were shaking.
“What did he mean ‘La Push is split in little pieces’?” I asked Sam.
Sam sighed, and looked away like Jared. “Since everyone found out about Billy.” He spat the name “No one will listen to Billy. It’s not just the tribal wolf council, the whole town respected Billy’s views, and now everyone is just arguing. The whole of La Push is questioning why we even listen to the ‘elders’ like Billy and Quill senior anyway. We always trusted them, they always claimed they could be trusted, but now it seems they can’t be. People are wondering what other things our ‘leaders’ have done that they aren’t telling us about. Some people are even threatening to leave.” I saw Sam’s eyes flick to Jared.
“Brady’s mom told him that they were moving.” Collin said acidly. Collin and Brady were best friends.
“Kim’s mom told her they might move away too.” Jared whispered. He still didn’t look at me. Jared had imprinted on Kim, and if she moved away Jared would have to move with her. He couldn’t bear to be apart from her for very long.
I sighed deeply, as the fire burnt down my spine and threw my mouth. The fire of pure blazing anger. I had just enough control over myself not the shake. It made me so angry though, that they were very obviously not blaming Billy they were blaming me. The abomination. The kid. They obviously thought I should’ve stopped myself being born or throw my self out of the midwifes arms and onto some sort of sharp object.
“Message understood.” I snarled unimpressively. “You want me to throw myself off a cliff, but y’know that won’t work. Don’t worry I’ll fill my shoes with lead. Maybe drowning will kill me.”
Sam’s expression didn’t change. “We would never want you to do that Embry.” His voice was flat and unchanging.
I laughed, gently. “Sure, sure whatever, I understood what you meant. No need to lie about why you actually came here and what you were actually asking me.” I started to get on my bike, and then smiled. “Or did you want to finish me off yourselves. Make sure the job’s done properly.”
“Of course not Embry!” Jared said sounding shocked. “We don’t want to kill you, just warn you. Right guys?” Sam and Collin didn’t reply. “Guys?” Jared suddenly sounded as if he’d been punched in the face.
“I think that answers your question.” I smirked “I’d better get going.” I kick started my bike.” Oh Jared tell Seth my dirt bike’s up at the cliff diving cliffs if he wants it. Thanks.” I rode away. Behind me I heard the pained howl of a wolf, probably Jared. But couldn’t tell anymore really. All my senses were numb as I faced death.
Lol I'm killing Embry :L mwah ha ha ha... i feel like a God =] Oh btw tell me if theres any mistakes??? love she_wolf x

Ouch! And ouch again!
Method acting? Vampire-playing Robert Pattinson admits he sometimes slips into character when he's out with the ladies.
"I've been known for a little nibble," he told reporters at the London premiere of his film Twilight.
Mr. Pattinson's co-star, meanwhile, shared one of his less-successful efforts to impress the opposite sex. "He tried to pick me up ... and he pulled his groin," said Kristen Stewart, 18. "It was hilarious! He was hurt, but he was laughing."

Summit Entertainment seizes up the next three books
LOCATION: Forks, cont.
THE SKINNY: Despite TWILIGHT not even being out in theaters yet, Summit Entertainment knows they have something major on their hands.
The studio has scooped up the rights to the next three novels in Stephenie Meyer's teen vampire series. Not only that, but TWILIGHT screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg is already planning to write scripts based on the second and third books, NEW MOON and ECLIPSE. A writer has not yet been attached to the fourth book, BREAKING DAWN.
TWILIGHT, which introduces audiences to the relationship between regular teenage girl, Bella, and a vampire, Edward, will be out in theaters this Friday.
Bella: How old have you been 17?
Edward: A while.
Bella: How long is a while?
Yesterday when I started re-reading twilight i noticed that Bella asks Edward that questiion when she goes out to dinner with him...
But in the first trailer she says it to him in the woods.
Right now i am worried that the movie isn't going to be as good as the book. If you compare the trailer to the book i bet you will find much more of messed up scenes.
Please leave me acomment on what you think about this.... because I am kind of pissed that Stephanie would allow the director to change everything...
Well you know maybe im speaking to soon with out seeing the movie....but thats what I think.
