Twilight Series Article: You Know You're Obsessed When...

I made this list one day while I had a slow moment at work. Fell free to add on. I even inserted some of my own comments in parenthesis.

1. You jump everytime you hear "Edward" or "Bella"
2. You can't focus on your work/homework because you could be reading one of the books... again. (Um, kinda what I'm doing right now)
3. You have never had an interest in Shakespeare, Jane Austen, or other books, but now you somehow find yourself VERY interested. (I already had interest in these bad boys/girl before, but I actually want to read Pride and Prejudice/Wuthering Heights now)
4. You name your pet/computer/car after after one of the Twilight characters. (My laptop's name is Bella)
5. You relate everything in life to Bella and Edward and anything else that goes on in the books. (I think of how I pulled a Edward on my friend Mike :( and I can totally relate with Edward)
6. You began to look out for men/women that have pale skin and dark eyes and are absolutely gorgeous. (Haha, if only)
7. You want to go cliff diving because Bella did it. (I've been bridge jumping, but I have yet to jump the cliff)
8. Your interest in motorcycles increases. (I want to ride one now!)
9. You read your books while you eat, or you just don't eat at all. (I'm crazy)
10. You go to Forks, Washington so you can imagine everything better. (I haven't done this one yet, but it's on my list)
11. You go to Phoenix, AZ hoping to run into Meyer (yes, I have done this before).
12. You go to Oregon/Washington beaches and think of Bella and Jacob and Edward. (oh yes, I have done this one. I even went to the tide pools.)

funnyshawna i have done most of these...and a lot more;) i need to make a list of my own thats what i did for harry potter:)

ILY-TWILIGHT i have done most of these and me and my friend are gonna go to forks and see if the meadow exists. lol. i already loved motorcycles but of course my interest in them has increased. i hardly sleep anymore (why sleep when you can spend the time reading the books over and over again. dah) And i have what i like to call twilight moments when i can hardly talk because i remembered a part of the story :D. And any song i listen to reminds me of bella and edward. Especially Situations from escape the fate (in parts of it). And everytime i see someone thats pale i can't stop giggling. Oh and most importantly i can't breathe when i see a silver volvo. hehe.

bratz3191 I've done numbers 1,2,3,5,6 and 9. I'd like to do 10,11, and 12 but I doubt my parents would let me anytime soon. lol =]

kctjohnson I'm doing 10 soon *LOL* I live in Phoenix, but I haven't done #11... probably because she lives in Glendale ;P Here are a few more: 1. Your BF got you a diamond ring for your anniversary, but you demand he return it and get you a Bella Bracelet instead 2. You’re sitting at a café and notice a stranger sitting nearby reading a Twilight book… and it delights you for some reason… and you talk to her/him as though she/he was your best friend 3. You bought a male husky just so you can name him Jacob. 4. You’re a big Harry Potter fan, yet when you see Robert Pattinson, you immediately scream “EDWARD!!!!” Where did Cedric go? 5. You have NO idea who the senator of Louisiana is… but you can name all the Quileute boys… first AND last names (where known) 6. You’d been planning on reading the new Stephen King book… but you’re too busy reading New Moon… for the twelfth time. 7. You have perfect eye sight… yet you bought a pair of golden contacts… and you call fellow Twi-Hards to just hang out… in the shade 8. You never took notice of cars around you but suddenly, every silver Volvo on the street catches your attention 9. You start attending powwows (or more powwos if you already attend them) just to see if you can find someone who'd be the perfect Jacob (or you might be looking for the entire Pack)

AngelOfNight You're life goal involves Edward, you becoming a Vampire, and eternal love. Oh, and a Best friend named Alice with premonitions.

cheergeek You see someone reading Eclipse and you scream at them "Edward or Jacob!" XD, I know someone who's done that before.

mirrakule I've done some of the stuff that kctjohnson has on her list.(i.e. cedric/edward) I was in Phoenix in March but I hadn't heard about Twilight yet. Don't think I wouldn't have looked for her.

tor81909 ORRR.... when you have a dream in anyway shape or form about twilight, new moon, or eclipse.. i had a dream i was Bella when i first started the series and Edward was the love of my life and he held me just like he held Bella =] so of course it was just a dream

i_luv_twilight i hav done 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9, wen i finished twilight i was in Poulsbo Washington and i cood see forks on our Mapquest map! (i no!!!!) i REALLY wanted to go, i mean it didn't look that far on the map, but we wood hav to drive around the olymipic mountains to get there so we didnt go. i do feel a sudden urge to go visit my aunt, who lives near phoenix, just hoping i can find stephenie! lol and i live in portland, oregon (me and my friends went crazy wen Portland was mention in the books! lol) i havent been to the beach in a while but now i REALLY want to go there too! i cannot wait! lol

mmmmmk me and my fiance have agreed that if i have a boy first i get to name him emmet...

when we arrived home Nessie and Jacob were asleep.Nessie on the couch , and Jacob on the floor.i walked into Mason's room and layed him down for bed . when i walked back into the living room Edward had put Nessie in her room and was about to wake up Jake.
" no don't he has probably had a tiring day and needs some rest." i told Edward before he could wake up Jacob.
i walked into our bedroom and straight to the closet alice made for us. i changed into some silf pjs .it seemed that was all my closet had was silk.

I've been listening to this song by Nada Surf called "Always Love". And there is this lyric: "To Make A Mountain Of Your Life Is Just A Choice..." If thats true, then lately I've benn making mine Mount Everest! But thats not the point. The point is, Edward seems different somehow. He isnt around as much. Always in the garage working on a car. And the worst part, its only day three with no Renesmee. I took out my phone, and texted Renesmee.

Summit Entertainment isn't wasting any time in their search for a director for New Moon and Eclipse, the much-anticipated follow-ups to their uber-hit vampire flick Twilight. Deadline Hollywood Daily's resident troublemaker Nikki Finke is reporting that they've offered the job to Chris Weitz, director of one of last year's biggest flops, The Golden Compass. Why? Summit reportedly liked the job Weitz did with visual effects on the film, which snagged a 2007 Academy Award for Best Achievement in Visual Effects. New Moon and Eclipse should both demand higher levels of visual effects than the Catherine Hardwicke-directed predecessor, and Weitz's skills will be especially handy should either film's plot be re-written to involve giant polar bear fights.
